Need 35+ questing zone!

I really need a questing zone that isn't Ystra Highlands. All I get out here is kill X number of cylops, X number of ferrets, etc. When I level up, it's just more X number of cyclops and X number of ferret quests. I'd be better able to do these in tandem if the map would still show where the quest givers are located. I'm content to not see where the quest givers are when there is more to a zone than just: Kill X number of Y, over and over and over, etc. So, I reeeeeaaaallly need another zone.

I really hated Yastra so i know how you feel. Dragon Fang Ridge is a nice place to level. There's an instance there called Clops. You should check it out ^^

Before going to Dragon Fang Ridge, a fun quest in Yastra is the quests that include the tower of ice or something. If your in yastra, its on the top right of your map. I found it fun, it was like a instance because there was a boss at the end, but its not classified as an instance.

If you don't like Dragon Fang Ridge, there's also the Coast of Oppertunities. You get a transport there when you go get your third class in varanas. When you finish the quest for a third class you get a skill thats in your "general skills" that transports you to Heffner camp. Heffner camp is in Coast of Oppertunities.

Since your level 35 you would be questing near the North of that zone. That zone is for level's 1-40. Its the fastest way of leveling as 3 or 4 quests can get you a level up. After that you can go farther north to the next zone called Xaviara or something.

a lot of the quests in this game is just like what you said... Go kill this, then go kill that. The game review noted this too: many quests in the game are just excuses for you to kill things. I'd suggest reading all the text in the quest, although its not a very good story, it at least makes questing less boring, because you have a storyline to go with it.

Well there are some quests where you have to gather herbs or stuff, but I find them more boring. Some quests are of you going to someone else and talking or giving something to them. The only real fun quests IMO are the quests where you have to go into instances.

Cyclops Lair is for level 50. If this person is level 35 they will be raped upon entry, assuming they can even make it to the doors. And, since the instance is locked by a short questline, they will have to be higher level to even pick up the quests first.

If you skip halfway through the Coast of Opportunity you will miss out on quests later, because a lot are questline driven and will not open up if you skipped through the zone, so I do not advise doing that.

Ystra does take quite a while, but even so, it is my favorite zone in the game. It is much better if you have people to run the zone with. :) Also, when I ran it, the game wasn't like a ghost town and there were tons of people talking in zone chat. That helped too.

Mal, does this get the Necro of the Year award? Really? 8 months later, you feel the burning need to correct someone's spelling?
