Current Endgame OP

After being gone for not sure how long, I decided to try playing again. When i saw the current EP patch is 4.0.w/e decided to pop in and ask the question...

Which class currently runs endgame with the top DPS. I'm not one for pvp situations so that aspect doesn't matter. This is strictly for pve situations.

nahh hands down its r/s right now, especially when they can break 90% crit rate before a fight now :) mages are number 1 on a 30 second boss burn, but after theyre cd's and pots wear off, they drop OUT OF SIGHT on the dps chart, even lower than scouts. If its a long boss fight, your gonna see rogues up top, scouts second, third mages. sorry mages you guys r great but without cd's and pots and kiting etc. your dps goes out the window.

Who cares which class is "OP" atm i believe that the game is damn near balanced. (except for pvp)

You want the top endgame dps classes here you go.

PVE

1.Warrior : W/R, W/Wd
2.Scout: S/Wd, S/W, S/R
3.Mage: M/W M/S M/P
4.Warden: Wd/S
5.Rogue: R/S R/K

I might've missed a class but as far as pve those are your top pve dpsing classes. Some better then others, but those, are the top of each class.

You may disagree, but running with each class in gch or tosh normal, (depending on the bosses) those classes can damn near keep up with eachother, as far as endgame stated, gear, weapons and etc.

As for mages and scouts, when their cd's are up (after "burn" phase) They drop off, mages more than scouts b/c they're more consistent dps overall. (hence why the gcd hurt mages so much, and somewhat scouts) You will also see a warriors dps drop after "beserk" tends to ware off but not so much as a mage or scout.

The reason i put wd/s up there is 1. their centaur hits like a truck when they're geared to dps and 2. I've witnessed a wd/s tanking 4th boss in gce and doing overall 6-8m damage.

As for r/s combat master and energy theif imo are some of the reasons for their "advantage" atm in pve. Since they've made dots to scaled now, which i like ( cept in pvp) it defintley helps a rogue catch up after the cd's of a mage and scout are up but mroe than likely they will alrleady be in the top 3 on scrut if not alrleady first depending on party. R/k however hasn't been AS effective since the "disarmorment nerf" but they are definatley effective in pve geared as dps, as to where I've also seen them do great dps.

Just my opinion feel entitled to chime in.

And you don't even mention r/m TGL...nor does anyone else. More of how used than what used and you're one of the proofs of that.

wd/s, it can deal some massive damage in PvE and PvP, its buffs are amazing for the party (http://www.runesdatabase.com/skill/494357/morale-boost), Chiron also hits like a truck in PvE and PvP.

Strictly end game (meaning tosh. Gch is a joke.):

w/r
r/s
m/w
s/wd
w/wd
s/r

This, of course is with w/r and m/w using the vn set. If you are one of these and do not have the set, you're not realizing the true potential of your class.

Other combos are very much viable. It all depends on how you stat, knowledge of your class/skills, and the overall talent of the player. We have a r/s/w who goes r/w and w/s for the hell of it, and still does competitive dps.

Mage Scout.

Combination of high damage, instants casts, and DoT spells.
Plus quite a few AoE spells

If you stat with a lot of intel strength and stamina you'll be beast

First off, you do realize this thread is 3+ months old? Grats on the necro.

Second, no mage in their right mind will ever use Strength, period.

And warrior/scouts. They need to make a nerf for "targetplayername: Sadakko".

You are spot on. The only comment I would make is that in my guild (PPK) r/s is the best. I do not believe that any equally geared class and equally skilled can compete with it.
