Yup. Distance. Have unbridled and escape artist up if you're kiting. The root is hits you when the bears are too close to you. Thunderstorm, never let them get close to you, and if they do, make sure you're fast enough to get away quickly.

which root? the bears exploding is a stun that you really have avoid at all cost to keep it consistent, as raven said...distance. their blast radius kinda big. annelia's root "lexical yoke" is random up to 4 ppl but doesnt seem to hit the kiter all that much. her slow i think is more irritating for our kiter.. in the later part of the fight..

Hes talkign about the yolk from annelia. This is random i believe it's screwing up our kiters too.

in the videos it never hits the kiters, but it hits me pretty much every round of the 4 little bears.

I've never kited Annelia but Ive been on around maybe 30+ succesful Annelia clears in Ragnarok. Being assigned to heal the kiter, I started to pick up on what they were doing. As far as I know, there is no actual root that should be hitting you *every* round of bears.

The bears *do* stun however, when they fall over and die. It is an radius-based aoe, hence why kiting the bears away from the raid is important.

The vine part that you mention, has hit me several times, and I havent been really taken annelia seriously in about over a month, but as I recall, the root/vine thing (has like a white glow, right?) only happens later in the fight, and rarely at that.

Not sure if I've been any help at all, but heres a few tips to salvage this useless post a bit xD

Phoenix Redemption
Soul Bond
Priest immune (if you're about to get hit by bears, also try it for the root)
Magic immune food (for when bears die near you)

you are getting unlucky, unfortunately. looks like a purple swirly thing, some kind of druid casts something that looks like that on you too.

our kiter is getting unlucky too, and it's not just later in the fight. got rooted on the first bear spawn, then the second bear spawn, and twice at that.

i still say they should let me try it as k/m wif my AoE's P:

I honestly don't care anymore we're at a point of never catching up i jsut go heal in expectation of fail ( at least we tried) then shrug it off its a fun fight at least.
