Unending Legends?

Quest: Unending Legends

Zone: Dragonfang Ridge

Problem:
No idea how to get this quest. Any1 know anything?

Cider gives a series of quests that lead to having to kill three Gjudir's. Each Gjudir drops 3x Shattered Piece of Crystal. If you have these in your backpack, Cider will offer you Unending Legends.

Unfortunately, I finished this zone a long while back and Cider no longer gives any quests. All he says is: "Alfreto and Zorath... There is truth behind the legends, is there not?"

You need the 3 pieces of Shattered Crystal to be able to pick up the quest - you can only get them from the preceding quest with the Gjudirs.

So, killing Gjudir without the quest is pointless? or is there a possibilty of getting the crystals if I continue to kill him? Also thx for the answers.

Gjudir only spawns when you have the previous quest & the pieces of Crystal only drop with the previous quest anyway.

if i remember right, there was a fix for this implemented a while back where if u had finished the previous quest, and or lost/threw out the crystals you could get them. there is a guy out in a tent by some polar bear lookin things. he will give u the crystals, i believe, i may be wrong about the npc. but i am almost positive they put this fix in for people who got stuck on this quest in one way or another.
