have you tried crowd controls?
here are a few:
battle cry
champion general electrocution
champion specific rune draw
ch/w power slash
druid specific binding silence
knight specific charge
mage general silence
mage specific discharge
mage specific static field
m/k enhanced holy strike
m/r demoralize
rogue specific numbing daggers
rogue specific sneak attack
rogue specific shadowprison
r/ch silent rune bomb
r/ch pulse rune bomb
and so on(I am too lazy to continue looking)
Every class combo has a crowd control, wether it sucks or not, it is there.
Also, all pets have a chance to get these special attacks from the bosses. While this annoys the heck out of click targeting players, it is much better for a pet to take one for the team than the player's character to get killed.
