Energy Of Justice Get Nerfed!

Thought i would start a post here since i cant see anything but the odd post in other threads that end up getting buried under other stuff. So from what i can see and what I've gathered from talking to other players is that mementos and energy of justice event got completely nerfed so that they no longer give out stats worth while. I had enough saved for 5 pulls from before the new patch and all i got was easy mode stats when pulling the shoulders listed under "best rewards". Ive heard the 150eoj stats are still the way they have always been meaning that your basically using 210 eoj for a bumper stat listed as "best" and 150 for a stat that will soon become cheap and easy to come by.

This has left 99% of the population in this game not able to stat themselves. It will push the price of the Remains stats through the roof and make them near impossible to come by. It would be great if a GM would give some sort of response on this issue (doubtful) as to why this has been done?

I get the feeling i must be missing something because this just doesn't make sense to me? Unless your running KBN HM then your not getting statted, simple as that.

EOJ stats and Shell stats have been nerfed in the new chapter. This will allow certain high-level guilds and certain OP characters to easily stat as well as get a lot more gold by selling their excess.

In the previous chapter I used to be able to stat a piece of equipment by doing minigames (shells) and events (EOJ). This enabled me to stat a piece about every 2-3 weeks, although I might have to buy a stat every now and then.

This is now impossible given my stat mixture. I will be unable to stat period unless I pay nearly 60 million or so just for the stats.

Shell stats have not been touched, they give out The best stats still.

This update has 2 sides to it, one is making it harder for a lot of players to get the best stats in game so that only a handful can get.

At the same time it makes getting stats equal to heros a lot easier. Now stats 1 point off hero sell for around 300k on my server. that helps lower level players a lot.

It comes down to cons vs pros. Sadly for us higher levels who are not endgame yet it makes mems and EoJ useless to be used with new venders, yet gives low level players who are in small guilds a much easier way to get some not to bad stats.

Statting with clean blue's will get you into Kulech Hard. Unless you're not already end game and near-perfect statted, I see no reason why mid-gamers or whatever below is called shouldn't be using the clean blue stats out of kulech ez. Most people could get 2-3 pieces statted in the same time it takes to stat 1 piece with all top-tier stats. Only people I should see being picky are actual end gamers in end-game guilds who already have statted pieces better than the tosh-equivalent blues.

Plate shoulders give stam/def, stam/patk, stam/dex, etc. Cloth mage shoulders give int/matk, int/stam, int/def, etc. So on and so forth. Nothing has changed out of mem/eoj's. Its the actual instance stat drops that have been "nerfed".

My personal results also match that list.

Perhaps Ravesden is getting confused with the 150 EoJ items, which have the same stats as Phirius Shell items (Dragon Wilderness -- not Remains). Not where I can confirm at the moment, but as I recall the 150 EoJ items in Crystalia are not shoulders.

You can get a very small number of the most sought-after Remains stats from EoJ/Mems: Stam/Def and Wis/HP. Int/HP and Matk/HP, if those count. But they are now a 1 in 9 chance, instead of 1 in 4 like Eternity, Bygone, and Dragon Wilderness. If you want Stam/Patk, Dex/Patk, Str/Patk, Int/Matk, Int/Stam of Remains, then it's KBN hard mode or KBN normal last boss (see http://rom.onlinewelten.com/news,id5293,…nest.html?sec=1).


All in all, I don't see the lvl 75 expansion as being nerf really. Get your Dragon Wilderness stats. Check out the weird Remains stats that are now more easily available -- maybe something fits: HP/Def, Int/HP, Matk/HP, Str/Def, etc. And you can get top rank bumpers crazy cheap now. Under 2m each now, even 1.5m offered occasionally in worldchat on Artemis (was 2.5 to 3m before lvl 75). And the blue items that are now super cheap -- won't use them myself, but really awesome for some folks.

Yes, there are now more best stats that only the true endgamers can get: before it was mostly the Proof of Legend stats, now part of the Remains ones as well. I'm OK with this. I'll stat Eternity/Bygone in the spot instead.

EOJ and MeM Remains pulls have been nerfed. Can't get stam/pa, dex/pa, str/pa remains unless go to KBN.

But you are right, with the blue X stats and the ability to buy AC norm weapons, a party can do KBN hard 1st at the very minimum.

Add to it the proliferation of stam/hp seclusion X, hp/def remains, and stam/def X and you can build tankier tanks and healers on the fly to anchor parties.

Overall, it's easier to get to endgame now than it was before. It only takes more time to stat perfectly once you're there.

You can still get the "good" stats from remain pulls actually. it's just really really really really really really rare...

did i mention that it's really rare? xD

that being said i don't really agree with making it harder for the rest of the population to gear. granted you do have blue's which i do use if i don't' get a stam/wis that i need. which apparently doesn't like to drop for me. fml.

Faspee, do you have solid information that contradicts the romwelten post linked earlier?

If not and we can rely on romwelten's info, then should clarify what "good" stats means. Yes, Wis/HP and Stam/Def can appear on 210 EoJ/770 mem pulls. And since you mentioned Stam/wis, those are probably "good" stats to you. But Stam/patk, str/patk, dex/patk, int/matk, int/stam, etc. are simply not available via EoJ or mems in "Remains" versions.

My personal pulls have all matched romwelten's posted info.

No point giving folks hope of things that aren't there.

But as Raves said, if you aren't an endgamer, you shouldn't need the good remains stats anyway. Go spend your mems on eternities, go spend your mems on accessories. Stat with the hero-equivalent blues out of KBN-easy, and you can RUN the actual instance to get stats such as int/matk and dex/patk.

I don't know maybe i'm just not that worried because, as a healer, for quite awhile i've had stats I need that I can't use mems to pull. I've always had to run the instance to get my stat mix (sta/wis and sta/hp) since KT.

Even endgamers don't need it. I've only statted 2 ramains stats (dex/pa) and I do just fine. I don't think it has ever been easier to get to end game content as it is now. mems + eojs + blue x stats will take you all the way into kbn hard. Don't have to step foot into any other instance before getting to kbn hard, except maybe FA and NoM :P
