the switch to channel 1 is a carryover from back when there were more channels, but hey, it is simple to try, so i suggested it.

The pre-quest to Blood Offering is "Creatures of the ruins" given by Habsig; it also has a pre-quest "Report", given by Shenbi, but turned in to Habsig. Are you sure you did not do these quests?

A real mystery there. Scratching my head i thought of this; perhaps you accepted her quest and she is waiting for you to do something, like click on the little glowing thing at the base of the pillar right there...

I came back here to ask Habsig for help, but it looks like she is busy with something else.

The situation is this, many Unusual Stone Tablets have appeared around the ruins. We've pieced together some information from the stone tablet and it seems to say something like..."If you wish to see the past, you must offer some blood." It sounds frightening, but actually it's still just a guess.

Please help collect Mushroom Blood Samples and Wolf Blood Samples and take them to the eastern part of the ruins. My Elf friend will be waiting anxiously for it.

Since we came to these ruins, we haven't unearthed many artifacts that say anything about this area's culture except this tribute statue, inlaid with garnet. But it doesn't seem possible. As if the craftsmanship and robustness of these ruins just came out of thin air.
