Change Race funcition

I believe that a change race function for this game would be very nice. It would be nice to have this function on main website for idk maybe 500-1k dias. It would be great for players to be able to reroll to like an elf and still have gear and keep their level without having to recreate their toon. It would be very nice for this to happen, I am wondering if any of our gm friends could talk to the producers of ROM and make this hapen thx.

I don't see how this fits in with life in Taborea.

There aren't even species on planet Earth that can suddenly change to another...

It wouldnt 'fit' with the concept of the game, but it does give more people freedom. Tell me, if you wanted to change from human to elf, would you drop your human that has for example has level 50 pet, hundreds of $$ worth in the itemshop bag and have almost if not all siege titles up to ironblood? I know of people, particularly a w/r at the moment that is tired of playing as human and really wants to go w/wd, but is not prepaired to drop everything for it..and he is on the verge of quiting.

Yeh, there is probably only a few that would want it, but it would still be nice to have the choice, at least at end-game.

^ Totally agree. Once you've put in some serious money on a character, the worst thing is to be told to just start over on a completely new toon, when you can't bring anything other than gear (with your own unbinders) over from your old character.

I know someone that got really tired of playing W/S after a while, since he couldn't match up to...well, any other class. He'd already put in several hundred dollars on this character, and was a casual player, so he didn't want to re-level a completely new one from scratch, and have to reinvest in a new house, new housekeepers, new pet, mounts, CS items, furniture, etc. He wasn't interested in W/R, and would have loved to go W/Wd, but he was a human. He eventually lost interest in the game.

Yeah, maybe it doesn't go with the "lore", but with how much is character-bound in this game, it really doesn't make sense to restrict someone in their race. The game is supposed to be all about flexibility of class combos...yet we can't try out new ones if we get bored with a certain one. I dropped my priest when I came back to the game, and made a druid, but I lost a lot of things I'd spent real money and/or time on. It's not something people should have to do. I'm still stuck doing mini-games on my priest, because I have around 40 puris left on her that I'm not just going to waste.

A race change item would be much more simple than, say, having to change each individual item to make it transferrable across characters on the same account. Gear can be exchanged easily. Everything else can't. And it's not like anyone's asking for a race change for free.

So people can be ban wags and go for r.wd s.wd m.wd etc. Good thought though. If they were to have such thing how would you lvl your char may as well buy 100+ resets while at it. Imo would be better to make a new toon especially if players are gettin bored

Since some classes are limited by race, you would lose that class all its exp and tp when your race changed. In addition you would have already used up all the quests to level up the new a class so it appears to be a bad idea all around.

Yes, but there are alternative ways to level whether it be daily quest resets or what have you

This is a great idea. It would generate even more money for Runewalker so it's a marvel they haven't done so already. Naturally the Race you want to swap to may not be compatible with your existing class combinations, but if you were spending that amount of money on a race change then I imagine you would have researched what you wanted to do.

imo it woudl be nice to have that function since for exemple.. my item shop backpack is full and i've spent many hundred dollars that game for dias.. buying things in item shop and selling them.. there's no way i'm gonna make a new toon and have those hundred $$ on another toon that i don't use no more..

and if you don't add that function then why don't you make the item shop backpack available for all the toon on the account? that way we didn't waste our money..

It would still be your choice. Don't want a race change? Don't buy one. But saying that leveling a new class would be difficult, therefore it's a bad idea, is a pretty lame argument against allowing people to use such an item.

Leveling any class other than your primary is difficult...which is why they have reset tickets. How is this any different than someone re-rolling one of their three classes, which happens often?
