Runes of Magic US / AU

For many, this quest is missed due to it being triggered by right-clicking an item & being so early in the game, some discard it before taking the quest. I know this because I did it myself and only discovered where the quest came from when helping someone else.

Knowing where it comes from is helpful but having a guide is even better so on the evening of Thursday 17th Oct 2013, I kept track of the quests as I assisted someone else in getting the title Logar's New Hero.
Hopefully, this will be of use to others as well.

There are 3 groups of quests needed to get the title and all 3 must be completed. The minimum level for some quests is 6 and some are 7.

• First, it's necessary to locate the Spear of Logar:
  
  1. A Father's Distress (George)
     
  2. Safe and Sound (Dion)
  
  
• Second, the Eye of Wisdom need to be aware that something strange is happening at the Dead Tree Cave:
  
  1. Plant Mutations (Sharlin)
     
  2. Sharlin's Report (Sharlin)
  
  
• Finally, assist the Eye of Wisdom in researching & destroying the magic within Dead Tree Cave:
  
  1. Gathering Spider Venom (Highly-skilled Doctor)
     
  2. Dead Tree cave Samples (Highly-skilled Doctor)
     
  3. I've Got A Bad Feeling About This (Highly-skilled Doctor)
     
  4. Preparation (Sharlin)
     
  5. Strength of the Seal (Agnes)
     
  6. Dion and the Spear of Logar (Sharlin)
     
  7. Destruction of the Gathering Magic (Dion)

When you kill the spiders that attack you in the final quest, Logar's Skeleton will drop into your backpack. Right-click it to get the quest "Return of the Hero" and when you hand it in, you will receive the title "Logar's New Hero".
