This is connected to the graveyard event in land of malevolance, and
requires a minor attunement. The event happens every hour. At 5 min
before the event starts, a group of npcs appear at the graveyard
entrance that give a yellow quest, Lost Soul. Simply pick up Lost Soul
from the npc, go to Kampel town and talk to the mayor(near the mailbox).
Then get the next yellow quest from the mayor, Tragic Past. Tragic
Past requires you to run the event to the point where the friendly elite
npc transforms into the boss. You should have to run it again for the
daily, unless someone can survive the bleed and tank the boss long
enough while you run back to the mayor, turn in Tragic Past, then pickup
the daily, and run back to get credit for killing the boss. Once you
are attuned, you only need to pickup the daily from the mayor.



Endless Night is the daily quest, which is picked up from the mayor.



The event has two parts:

The first is to follow the friendly npcs around, kill the zombies(some
elite ones appear at certain points), burn their corpses, and
heal/cleanse the npcs with the power stone. You get two items in your
inventory as the start to do this, a torch and a power rune. The
friendly elite npc must survive until the second part. If one of the
friendly npcs dies(usually from the poison), then they become an elite
zombie that must be dealt with. If all the friendly npcs die, the event
is over. If soloing, the difficult part is healing/cleansing the npcs,
since this can only be done with the power rune, which has a 6 sec
cooldown, and only when the npcs have an active poison debuff. There
may be some player skill out there that works, but I have not done
extensive testing and found it. With more players, the heal/cleanse is
easier. The friendly npcs will also heal/cleanse and burn corspes. If
players burn corspes, then the friendly npcs are free to do more
healing/cleansing



Part two is when the elite friendly npc transforms into the boss that
must be defeated for Endless Night. If success full, wait a few seconds
and you will get ancient mementos for the event.
