How to get to the new zone

OK, on my furthest along toon I just finished the quest "The Return" in Chrysalia which completed the main questline in Kashaylan, and I just picked up the quest "Ominous Forebodings" from Daris in Varanas class hall which takes me to Brinewind Castle in the new zone. Now I was able to get that quest because I asked a guildie, but my question is, how the heck did he know we're supposed to go to Daris? How were we supposed to know we're supposed to go to Daris in Varanas when after finishing the last quest in Chrysalia there is no hint of any kind what to do or where to go?

It is a reasonable question. There is usually some continuation between zones, where you go to old zone and you get couple quests that lead you to new zone. Not in this case; nothing was added to Kashay to let people know to talk to Daris. Sure, if you are observant, you can notice that a previously quest free Varanas zone has a quest in it. But it is not reasonable to expect people to notice it without game you some direction.

Minor flaw to be sure, but a flaw.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

You will randomly get a skill on your extra action bar while questing in Kashaylan. You do not have to finish the main line, because I believe the new and old quest line are not connected. Also because I got the skill not even halfway done questing in Kash.

Anyways, there will be yellow text on you screen informing you that Daris will help you blah blah blah and then you'll be randomly given a new skill. The skill transports you to the Class Hall next to Daris. Put 2 and 2 together and bam you are in the new zone.

I guess no one pays attention to the yellow text anymore, or even skills that pop up :lol:

Funny cus, i found out by doing the Restoring the Statue's Magic Circle quest and accidentally click the new skill instead of one of the colors XD...that was annoying lol

That only applies if you still had quests to do in Kashaylan. For those of us who finished the line all the way to the end before the update, we got no "popup text" or anything. Also, since the map is bugged an longer shows quests, even looking at Varanas map does not show Doris as having a quest marker.
