Leveling Guide

Is there a guide anywhere on the forums that says what areas you should be in during what levels and what areas are best for leveling.

If there isn't...can anyone post one please?

Thanks.

1-10 = Howling Mountain
10-20 = Silverspring
20-30 = Aslan
30-40 = Ystra
40-50 = Dust Devils Canyon.

Normally used to level secondary
1-20+ = Sacillia Steppers ( well receive a skill to teleport here when u get second class)
20-40 = Dragonfang

**Note this are just approx. levels. You will still have quest after the recommend level so don't worry about it. Follow the quests and as you level you will start getting quest that take you to new areas of the map.

Are there any quests in varanas? because i can't get in there because it's glitched, i can't walk around or i fall through the world. So is that going to affect my leveling at all...i'm 15/12 right now

Try relogging, but it could be a bug happened about a week ago too where Varnas just disappeared, but it will come back if logging don't work try sending a support ticket, they can tell you if it is bugged or if its you(doubt its you though).

And yes there are tons of quest in varnas. ;)

It's been doing it to me for a week now so it must be bugged. But do you think it's possible for me to get to 20 without doing varanas quests?

It's very possible but will take along time as probably over half the quest or at least the start of them, start in varnas. If this has been going on for over a week, you really need to connect support or maybe a post in technical bugs forum as I was there yesterday so I know its there. Maybe something didn't patch correctly for you, so contact support or go to tech forums as you really need the quest inside varnas.

I posted in the tech forums but no one will respond so i dont know. I reported the problem in game if that's the way we're suppose to do it? So far i'm level 16 though without doing the quests in varanas.

You probably got a bad patch somewhere along the line, or something got corrupted -- have you tried re-installing? In addition to quests, you need to get to Varanas to get your second class and elite skills, as well as to learn higher crafting levels.

Is there a way to uninstall the patches and re do them so i don't have download the whole game again?

I don't believe so, but you can download them (see the thread in the Community info forum) and try re-applying them manually.

I want to also add that you check your daily quest bulletin board as soon as you hit a new area and see if you qualify for any of them (there's a minimal level like any other quest). If one of your regular quests happens to take you through an area where you need to gather/kill stuff, might as well pick up the daily as well to go with it. Some quests require you to return back to the same area or kill the same creatures multiple times so pick up those dailies again.

Dailies are a great way to lvl. Also good for ur secondary, complete on primary, turn in on secondary. Have fun!:)

I've been playing this game ever since the first day it came out and I haven't gotten past level 15 xD because the game gets really boring after a while. Mostly because there's no such thing as solo -.-"

I have a 37/36 P/K which I was solo 95% of the time. Not sure what the problem is

A valid question that many new players usually have...

Far as I can tell you, there is simply not enough quests to level both classes. So generally, if you don't use excessive amounts of CS bumpers to increase exp and reset dailies; you will have to grind...alot. 30-37 on both my classes now, had to grind 8 levels out of 14 since there is no cards available in my country and quests simply dry up. To get to next area, I will have to grind 37-40 on both classes. Ugh, it's just going to get worse higher I go lol.

It has been my experience that there is plenty of quest to level both of your classes to 50...

the primary one is especially easy, just follow the normal zone recommendations, even without dailies.

howling mountains/elven island 0-10
Silverspring 10-20
Aslan 20-30
Ysatra 30-40
Dust devil canyon 40-50

and for your secondary

steppes 0-20
Dragonfang ridge 20-35

Now there is a catch,, DO YOUR DAILIES EVERY DAY!!!!! and USE Steppes and Dragonfang for your secondary ONLY!!

after that you still have ravefell, savage lands, weeping coast, and the volcano to level even more....

It works very well (I know. old thread...) :)

I am W18/S16 in only 5 days up to Silversprings. Also mining at 20 with herb and wood at 19. So plenty to do. On the daily, pick the one with the highes XP returns. They are easy enough. Example : the feathers one was returning 900+ XP, so I went got 24 (2 * 12) and took the quest and submitted twice (I only had 2 left to do that day).

I have found up to L18 leveling goes very fast. Is starting to slow down, but that probably means I need to move on to the next area.

Actually I guess this is a good thread that got bummed because I basically see this as a problem. I hit 32 finishing the other zones now I am in ysatra(however it's spelled) I only have 1 zone to get 2 characters up to 40.. So your telling me there are enough quests.. Yea right I don't see it. Don't tell me about dailys they don't count (also should NEVER count for quest count and being enough quests)and here's why. If I play more hours then the "normal" person I have less dailys I can do, If I play less hours then the "normal" person I have more dailys I can do (questionable since I have less playtime but thats how it would work out).

As it is now I am doing all of the work on my druid side, and turning in the quests on my mage side, sadly I am seeing that I will mostlikely have to grind mobs to get to 40'ish so I can rinse repeate this again. :( Now maybe when I get closer to 50 there is more of an abundance of quests, but in the mid zones it really doesn't look that way.

Also without seeing this guide, I basically did it anyways that way. lol Kind of freaky luck but hey it worked out, 32/32 on my character before hitting ysatra.

You can get to the high 30s in Dragonfang -- I've gotten secondary classes to 38 there, so if you only hit 32 in DFR something is wrong, or you just haven't gotten to all the quests there yet. Ystra is deceptive -- in the low 30s it doesn't look like there's much to do there, but a whole boatload of quests open up when you hit 36, and some you won't see until you hit 40. And now there's also a bunch of quests in the Ystra Labyrinth that are in the high 30s/low 40s. Even leveling both classes there, you'd be hard-pressed to run out of quests these days.

Beyond that, you can get to 50 in DDC, but Ravenfell opens up at 45, so you again should have more than enough quests to get both classes to 50 between those two zones. Beyond that it gets a bit tougher -- I don't know anyone in my guild how got both classes to 55 strictly on quests, though you can get them pretty close (55/54), and then just do dailies to get 55/55.
