Reaperx10,

Rogues are powerful in PVP because they have the element of surprise but so does everyone else if you include their ability to use an invis potion.

You didn't just DO that, did you?

If I recall correctly Invis pots have a 15 second duration. Rogue sucks now, badly. Stealth used to be perpetual until broken.

omg food in pvp is for noobs. It is clearly an over powered skill don't even try to deny that. Which other class can hide and then stun you for 5 secs straight out of hide???? And i do know how to play my class. And those things u mention (skills) have cooldown whilst shadow prison and hide do not. Rogues need nerf.

Foods, trinkets, gadgets, and gizmos are all valid artifacts in the game.

Intentionally NOT taking advantage of tools laying their for your use is "for noobs".

You want to kill more often, then pack and use the tools legitimately in the game for that purpose. This is still a standup approach, nothing wrong with it at all, if you consider the lengths some go to in actual cheating.

i was gonna make a long post going on about how he is wrong about food in pvp and how hide and SP isnt op but this just sums it up and shows his ignorance and it wouldnt do any good to explain it out. plus i dont want to continue the flame war he is dragging on. +1 to you mrmis

end of topic, every class is good at pvp (cept maybe wardens) its up to the player to push the class to its full potential with the right play style. the player also has to chose the right class for his/her play style, that he/she enjoys playing the most. if you dont enjoy it, you will never be able to bring it to its full potential and you most likely will not succeed with that class. after all it is a game, and if you dont enjoy it, your defeating the purpose of playing

yes, EVERY class has their perks...i usually play any combo of r/d, r/m, m/r, d/r, or battlemonk in pvp (yes, ik most of them have some rogue in them...) for rogues, numbing dagger is soo much better than SP, so i usually lead with that

my d/r: great combo, does decent dps and has heals...only problem is that it has low HP and no stuns, making vulnerable to rogues who pop up behind you and 3 hit u

my m/r: yes, it is a windmage and i like it that way, it is an uncommon way to play a mage...plays like a d/r, but has more stuns

my r/d: like any rogue, only r/d gets crit hit buff and poison aoe(which does actually a TON of damage)

my r/m: again, a rogue, but it has the traps...the traps are just fun...and they do some nice damage, not as much as r/d's poison aoe tho...

my battlemonk: ah, this is a fun class to pvp with...no1 expects a priest to be even decent in pvp, but my p/w does... it has decent defense due to battlemonk stance even tho it wears cloth, nice dps once u get the killing going, and has heals...the nice part about him is that between the heals and def. buffs, it is easier to take out multiple targets at once when they are all attacking me, making my rage regen at about 20 rage/sec. making it possible to spam my warrior skills in addition to the p/w elites like burst of fighting spirit and fighting spirit combination
*p/w goes thru mana like crazy...i usually use over 100 mana pots in 1 instance run, so always have 5+ stacks in ur bp and keep taking 1 every 20-30 sec. to keep ur mana up
