1v1 battlefields working 100% fine during siege.

Does frogster have more than 1 person working QA on this?

Would be nice to see someone other than 1 frogster employee seeking feedback from the community on a problem of this epic scale.

full on over 1min+ to attack/buff/getonmount/res yet guild chat remained untouched by lag but regular chat in siege zone 1min+

This lag in siege is ridiculous! Several of us are lagged by as much as 8 min; we go from taking out processing factories to not being able to get out of our own castle. Siege ended for our guild at 22:52 it’s now 23:00 and I’m just getting the message that we are attacking their crystal. Please fix this; siege has become a frustration for many instead of something fun.

Tonight after 20 minutes I was so incredibly lagged I couldnt do anything at all. I jumped out, and then I couldnt get back in.

3 accounts, 2 different computers, my character faded away, and then my client disconnects... never got in.

After siege is over.... the tiger fury & lizard blood I had on me had 9 minutes left on me.

Meaning that what was happening to my account was "out of sync" with the server.

Theory: Whatever you all did to the in-game clock in attempt to fix the item shop has knocked the siege server out of sync with the rest of the servers. This explains the various "delayed" views most people are having with the siege they're attempting to participate in. It explains the terrible delay in skills. It explains the constant rubber banding when trying to move.

Solution: Restore the in-game clock to its previous state, and find a solution to the item shop that does not completely disable your game's main attraction.

This is a nice theory, but is not true...unless something on the server was causing the clock to slow down (which is usually impossible, it's probably a Windows Server, which would explain some of the issues). If the 'server time being 3 minutes behind everything else' was the issue, then the lag would be everywhere...or if the individual game servers were behind 3 minutes, then the lag would be present all throughout siege war for everyone, not just for 90% of participants and not just for 40% of siege war.

Did you try the Arena when in Siege war the lag was going on and you had time delay? I wanted to test it out but my guild has quit sw :(

Arena for the 1st 5 min is fine during sw time. I wanted to test more, but guild needed me for tosh hm.

Yes, while entering the siege battlefield was literally impossible, the PVP arena was easily & quickly accessible and working 100% normal.

My guild and myself have decided to opt out of siege participation until next maintenance. Siege is just not fun when you can't even move. Especially when you have 1 person on the entire field who isn't lagging just running around killing everyone and capping towers while you're waiting on the rez-delay to send you back to the castle which you'll never get out of.

I came here to post about the very same thing.

Has anyone at Frogster made any attempt to correct siege start time?

Is the server clock fast by 4 minutes?

It seems a little odd to me that the lag we are getting at around 20 minutes in is around the same duration as the server clock appears to be fast.

Surely it is a simple matter to check & correct the servers time setting & it is just possible the fix could be as simple as that.

When is Siege War going to be fixed?

Is it just Govinda that is experiencing so much lag that gets more and more each game that by mid game, over half the players are incapacitated? By the game end, about 10% of players who started can actually do anything.

This is server wide for us. Why isn't FA addressing this or even mentioning this? Many players have just stopped doing SW at all, waiting for someone to fix this glaring bug.

Tonight.. at 10 minutes in, it was already taking me 65 seconds to cast an urgent heal. Over a minute to cast a .6 second skill. Screw this game.

Fix the damn siege server Frogster, pull your head out of your asses and fix it.

9 minutes into siege and the lag started. By 10 minutes, it was unmanageable. Frogster, you're doing it wrong.
