Where was I? Sorry, but can't give out personal info on the forums, its against the rules :o
But I CAN say I won't be home for a couple of hours :P

As for the pants, nah, will farm them up some other time. Don't yet have the stats to replace my old pants just yet. Plus not having them gives me a reason to mindlessly farm rt :P

Back on topic: Im guessing that this new datacenter they implemented wasn't tested for the traffic for SW, hence the lag.

oddly enough, I didn't have any "severe" lag. everyone else in my guild did. no idea how to explain that crap.

I say pants trading makes for more entertaining topic than complaining about SW lag.

I hit hide, and finally hid 3+ minutes later. I was running around rubberbanding, couldn't figure out why and 3 minutes later i finally got the resurrection notice.

OMG. That was... surreal. 10 minutes in and only a few of us were in lag-hell. After 10 minutes, everyone started lagging. Just a few people on the opposition had good connections and a few on ours... we were both maxed at 36 people each.

Herald was 7-10 minutes behind. I was 5-7 minutes behind.

Siege, while hilarious, was pretty much unplayable.

We won, don't ask me how. Siege ended for me at about 11:03 pm, so I was about 6 minutes behind at the end.

To Evil Empires... sorry 'bout that. I don't really consider that a win, as it was basically a question of who wasn't lagging, although tell Xalcaponex that I'll get him back for that teabagging later ;) If I coulda shot him back I wouldn't have minded lol. God that would have been such a good siege too. And that reminds me, sorry for the kiddos yelling "haxx" at poor Shootwho, he was invisible only to the lagged ones, I saw him and was attacking away to no avail. We figured out eventually what happened lol. Love you, EE- here's hoping we get a lag-hell-free rematch soon :)

Was a very fun siege til 40 mins in and i crashed, couldnt get back in :/. At least I got you once, and I feel disappointed tho, never got to feel that T11 Puppet Queen of yours,oh well......find me next time >:D

I think we had 8 turn up for siege, my ping was a stable 312 ms. Thats up about 100 ms from normal.

I think 4 of us had no lag problems but the other 4 had around 5 minutes delay on skills.

1 crashed & could not rejoin siege.

Strange but our people with the 5 minute delay all said Ctrl + X showed a normal ping.

Seems the delay had more to do with the server bogging down than net latency.

Man, seriously, I hope that was a one-off. If we have many more sieges like that people will ragequit. I wonder why those few people had no lag, and everyone else was in lag-hell misery? If we could figure that out we'd be ok, cause we could all do whatever it is.

And I t10'd my PQ, saving my big buckaroos for the Shackles of the Cursed Face ;) I have a feeling you'll find me first though lol.

Just a heads up, we're currently investigating this problem to see if we can do anything to improve the stability in Siege War.

The company you contracted with is a good very small company that uses the 95% bandwidth payment method. Since siege will be in the top 4% all the time (1 hour of 24) my guess is what they allowed for in massive spike bandwidth was not enough. That with the fact they had their night crew up which will not have the same "fix it" ability that a full day crew might. I do hope your techs and theirs get together to alleviate this. Your company survives off that 4% spike.

Seige War has always been laggy for some people, and most have come to accept some lag in there. I consider myself to be lucky, I hardly ever lag and very rarely do I crash. Last night’s siege was a whole new experience for me, I was like OMG! I was pushing my buttons so much because I thought my keyboard had broken L... Then when I stopped doing that my Mage was doing stuff all on her own and I was just watching. I was rubberbanding so badly that it was actually funny!! I was at the Mid towers, which I might add I could not even see, and banded all the way back to our castle. Another time I was at our opponents castle and realized I was alone and gonna die so I ran away back to the mid again only to rubberband back to theirs to die!!
Frogster has to realize by now that a large % of their customer base truly enjoys siege war. It’s the one part of this game that you can just have a blast with the entire guild without worrying about getting stats, grinding for XP/TP, etc.....
So, prior to yesterday’s maintenance a small percent of people lagged and afterwards, it appears that we all lagged. Hmmmm, balancing? LOL...Seriously though, I really hope this gets sorted soon!!!

I can personally say that for me that was probably the cleanest, least laggy and non-dropping SW I've ever been in. I did hear complaints from a couple of guildies and we were done in under half an hour so we may have missed the worst of it. Otherwise with this patch my ping has dropped from 97 to 31 so i am pretty happy. :D

I don't normally have issues with Siege, but last night was the worst Siege issues I have had for a long time. 37 mins in I gave up on it. I'll try another siege but dealing with that last night, it's not worth the frustration anymore.

Lag

Ever since the move to Germany with the servers this game has really started to suck bad. I have spent a lot of time working and trying to have fun with this game. In the last few weeks I have along with a very large number of my friends have determined something. If they cant run a simple game like this why play it and we are now looking for something new to play.
