It is still having the delay problem. I didn't have it tonight but other guild mates did. I am also sure the team we was fighting had delay problems as they were super easy to kill in masses.

That is some pretty bad news I hear. I may have some good news though. Even though Siege War was unplayable again yesterday, we did manage to find the possible cause of the problem. As we speak our Developers and IT are working on the problem, I will let you know right here once we made changes :)

We would require some more information from players who participated in the last Siege Wars and were dealing with lags and issues again. Please provide us with the following:

- Start time of the siege wars battle (meaning, when did your siege war actually begin, exactly at 8pm PST or when later, when exactly)

- After how many minutes does the lag start (e.g. 8:20 pm PST)

- Please upload a screenshot on today's Siege War, if you participate, that shows FPS, Zone ID and Ping (Ctrl + X)

Got in SW before saw even announcement (don't remember seing one actually) just after 10PM EST. At the time someone from other guild has already taken one of middle towers.

Just from start it was a bit laggy, but nothing bad until 10 minutes into siege. At that point I got stuck to main gate. I could not move from gate, nor I could go trough it. Got killed and no rez option, so I decided to close and restart client. Did that and connected just in time as other guild was taking our crystal.

Now fun part, as I ended up between 4-5 of them, started PF and no damage on anyone around me, which is possible if they had buff. Died, moved down (iirc buff is 10 sec long) and repeated PF - no damage at all, but they killed me, even I had 2-3K HP left?! In the mean time, we lost and I ended up ported back in game, with only 2-3K HP and rez option to revive at closest rez point?! At least no dura lost or xp debt, and clicking on message did nothing.

Had fun for 10 min, frustration for another 15.

30sec late from the usual start time compared to the night before when it worked, it was on the dot.

It was roughly Round the 20 25 min mark that the lag hit extremely hard.

And no screen shots at this time I will try and get some to you tonight if siege is not fixed.

best information I can offer is, we are back to the same issues that started on January 20th, 2012. First 20~ mintues it's ok w/ minimal lag, then the lag monster smacks 85-90% of your guild with about 5 second lag and slowly increasing to 5minute lag... But we can at least log in now.

Also notice loading from character select screen to the game is now 2x to 3x longer than it used to be (only confirmed by one other guild member, so may not be as wide-spread).

I was a few min late to seige, but the guild said it did start at the top of the hour for us. One person in guild mentioned that it started 30 sec after the top of the hour. Seems to too signifigant, though most PC's use the Microsoft or US Government time servers to keep their clock accurate.

Over all I had no real issues outside of intermittent no response to spell cast, including Herald spells. The no response was just that, no response, not a lag. I'd cast again and it would immediately fire off. The first I noticed this was at 22 min after the hour and it continued for the duration. Not getting any worse, just random.

Only 3 of the 9 in on our side reported any real issues, typically it is the majority of the guild having issues. Starting at about the 20 min mark, with slight lag progressing to being so bad they just stood in place the rest of seige. Same symptoms exibited for the last several weeks.

Unfortunately I got distracted and failed to reg us for seige tonight. So no screenshots from us.

A friend of mine on Reni said he will never sign up for siege after what happened to his guild alst night. I will not say who they went up agains seeing as he already stuck a ticket in on it but I can say this: his guilds opponents were invincible the whole siege. None of his guildmates could even touch the other guilds members at all, and that was with all his guilds geared lvl 70's in siege. He was ranting about it on TS from teh start and it sounded so bad I decided to join them on an alt I have in his guild. Now seeing as my alt is only lvl 33 I pretty much expected to be owned from first site, but no the opposing team jsut IGNORED me and rofl-stomped their way to the the crystal through a field of traps without even breaking a sweat. Took them all of 1 minute to take the crystal. Now I do know that someone that is endgame geared can seem invincible to others but when I did manage to hit someone with a skill it did 0 points of damage to them. My friend said the same was happening with him and his guildmates, they were doing 0 points of damage. Now event eh best geared players still take some damage. After he said that I told him to take screenies adn send them to frogster. Not sure if anything will ever be done but it looks like cheating is still going on.
As far as teh alg went I encountered none myself but I could see waht appeared to be others from both guilds rubberbanding and warping all over the place adn this was around 20 minutes into siege jsut before the other team decided to jsut take my friends guild down.

dmg calcs are server side...a screenshot of the combat log with a bunch of 0 dmg hits would be really interesting. since old bugs that were fixed are popping up un-fixed may be a variant of an infamous one previously seen.

if each server has its own login server now like my poking around indicated the lag may fit..the more populated servers had the most lag issues it seems. palenque has a TON of ppl on it surprisingly enough an i hear most guilds on it had the lag monster. prev night no one expected siege to work so the load was pretty lite. last night gave the load balance a good stress test i guess.

we had little if any lag last night..but osha doesnt have that many ppl maybe

c'mon now show some love :P surprisingly :P pshhhhhh So you're suggesting that the lag come from the population of each server? thing is, It did this right before the fire festival as well it'd hit the 20 or 40 minute mark if u havent won allready then lag hit and your skills would wouldnt cast for anywehere from3-20 seconds behind. I didn't get to enjoy seige but I know we faced a guild froma retmeis called silentjustice and most of my guildies were lagged after the 30 minute mark and couldn't do anything so that lost us quite a few points, and we didn't even bother to sign up today.

I actually would liek to hear if SIlntJustice, if they were lagged as welll? maybe is it a server population thing? or how many guilds per server signed up causing the lag?

lmao noto vent has more ppl in it half the time than i think play on osha entirely

idk only guessing..previously it was random ppl inside the same siege that had the lag, now its random teams i guess. so w/e they changed effected the problem...so on the right track to a solution hopefully

Exact same experience here.... also the whole guild was stuck in Siege until disconnecting from server.

Is it about server load and population? Or guild size and population per siege instance? Cause Palenque may be little, but we build big guilds and we run big sieges.

I mean, I know less about computers than I do about say... nuclear physics, but- I dunno. Two nights ago we sieged with 4 people max in my alt guild against 8 opponents, and had 0 lag on either side. Last night we had 36 to their 30. That's a pretty big siege. Could be utter coincidence- could mean something.

I'll try and get that info you requested tonight in my alt guild Dionaea. Noto's not siegeing, so numbers will be small. Only the true diehards merc in my alt guild. The rest either log out early or sit in vent with us and QQ.

Still wanna hear from Exileddemonhorde on how your lag was last night against us- Broguey where are you, you booger!

Everyone still stuck in Siege AFTER battle had ended. Also.. we never got credit for even being there. According to the Battles list we were never in Siege at all... and of course, no rewards.
