The question, now, is how many of those guilds were actually a single guild in two sieges.

No such luck... Was helping couple guildies with questing so missed the daily QQ show and 2 minute hate. Oh, well... looks like forums to the rescue.

I'm just...tired. I really think its been too long without siege. I was not able to get on tonight, but it seems its the same thing, different day. I've said it before, and Ill say it again. If this game didn't have siege, I would have never stayed. Its been 2 years of mostly fun.

Im giving it maybe a week or 2, if not, I guess it'll be time to give away my gear to a guildie or something. There has been problems with this game, but never to this extent. Back during the missing chests/maid fiasco, I got everything back after a week. (Thank you Nytefall for working it out). This however, is too much. I would have never thrived for end game if it were not the competitiveness of siege. Now that's gone, the fun is gone.

This had also happened during ch3 when I was in the 40s. Character disappeared, couldn't get in. It took maybe 1-2 weeks to get siege going again.
This has really taken too long.

A week or two, then Im out.

Honestly, I think they're probably too busy staring at the gouged innards of the battleground server to notice we reset the count.

Your faith is admirable but I myself seriously doubt Frogster has any IT staff available to look at anything before next schedualed maintenance. After all the IT person has a much more important main job delivering pizza!

siege war

1- fix it
a-make it a port taking ppl to a separate map, similar to the guild castle or house maids. It is obviously not due to the fact that the ddc event messages are appearing on the screen during the siege whenever loading from ddc.(same when entering from silversprings)
b-make the walls a blade of grass/building/fence/something so they cannot be exploited. Guilds invest tons of resources to have/upgrade them with garbage returns for their efforts.
c-make the guards/gates/siege equipment/towers worth a toot again.
d-read and ACTUALLY MAKE CHANGES from the forums
2-move it to 10pm est/7pm pst. This is not too late for est and not too early for pst. This also allows a reasonalbe signup time of 12am est/9pm pst.

So can we safely say the time change #1 didn't help and #2 made things worse? YES WE CAN. Hit the RESTORE button. I've got a little button I can hit when I totally *$&*%$ things up on my computer, takes me back to a point before I lost my flippin mind and did something stupid. It's a godsend reallyl for those of us with absolutely no clue what we are doing and just randomly screw with things we shouldn't be going anywhere near. HIT IT it might help and it certainly won't hurt! It's almost magic taking you back in time, back when things weren't nearly as broken as they are now. Do us a solid and hit it........not sure when this colossal blunder actually occured but 48 hours should do it.

Knowing how EUF works, it is safe to say siege war will be broken 100% till next tuesday. Nothing is ever fixed before servers go down and we know if a problem happens right after servers go down it will not be fixed till 1 week later.

I can speak for my guild, in that we don't mind an unplanned maint that has a chance at improving things. If it doesn't fix it, so be it at least you know sooner than waiting for the next maint.

Four or five unplanned maints over a week or even a couple weeks is a LOT better than 6 weeks of waiting for each planned maint to try something.

In the mean time I have stopped regging us for Seige.

BTW, the script shows 160 regged, but I thought the limit had been changed to 150.

This reminds me of about 4-5 years back on oracle server database that runs on AIX server (IBM). Everything looks good, but one process that should not take longer then 15 min was taking 60 minutes, everyone waiting for it to complete. We had to run that process 3-4 time a day.
Monitor of the server showed that we had memory and processing power, but bottleneck of the server was HD. We had mirrored drives. We upgraded from mirror to Raid 10, and our process magically since then runs in 10 minutes.
Let's hope that forgster's support has knowledgeable db and networking admins...we did not see them yet... but let's just hope...

This is the third time in three months, that 'Frogster' has broken siege in the same manner. They don't seem to learn. (different than the 'bug' of server configuration and the 'bug' of refusing to pay for required bandwith that has been encountered with the server service provider change)

Oh wait, does revealing the truth still earn a permanent ban of both forum account and game account? I was notified by [unnamed Mentor] that it does. If that is really the case, then forget what I wrote....

Completely and utterly borked.....Day 2! You do know you don't HAVE to wait till next Tuesday to fix this right?

Siege is not allowing anyone to enter, across my server (Govinda), again.
When you click enter, nothing happens for roughly a minute.. you can run around, talk.. then you vanish and can't talk or use skills or move.. then you crash to log in screen.

Siege War

Whats with this time change? Now we can't get in at all. Hit G, enter click battle, then enter battle. Get kicked to login screen 3-5m after that. Please, for the love of... Fix this. This is to some ppl I hear very day VERY important part of overall enjoyment of this game. You say things are being worked on, ok then; post a timeline of where you are now and a final expected completion date. You may actually retain people to stick with the game. Cheers!

WTB a gantt chart. Nevermind, I'd settle for a developer that knew what one was.

Doubt it, bet they are running some cruddy hp SAN full of sata drives in no raid configuration and all linked together with copper ports to a 10/100 unmanaged hub with "Peggy" as the IT admin...

With the way siege is looking, looks inevitable. I haven't even bothered to log in for the past couple of days. There's no point.

Hello Peggy? PEGGY!!? What just happened?

LOL I gotta say coming here and hoping to come up with something, ANYTHING to prompt Frogster to do something to fix things and seeing the hilarious stuff people come up with, has become WAY more fun than playing their game. How freakin sad is that.
