The head buried in sand ostrich approach to listening to your customers isn't working. Diamond purchases have dropped noticably so:

Return Siege to its proper time.

Swallow your pride and contact your former employees to find out what they did to fix the very same problems 18 months ago.

It is quite true that nobody posting here has any idea what the real diamond purchase situation is but it is a reasonable assumption that diamond sales are not as good as they were in the recent past. One can make that assumption after moving from zone to zone at any time of the day over the last few weeks.

It is quite possible to start in Logar & travel every zone to AV & see very few people actually in the game. One can experience the same lack of people playing by travelling through zones from Dalanis to TB.

That may not give a true picture of Frogster's financial state but surely it is some indication that all is not well.

I do want to continue playing RoM but I am worried about the current state of the game.

I can guarantee you they (diamond sales) have dropped because I've stopped buying them completely and shall never purchase another one till this joke is fixed. So sales shall never be as high as they were or could be if even one person stops spending due to this gross negligence. And I can assure you that I'm NOT the only one.

Hello Peggy? PEGGY!!? What just happened?

LOL I gotta say coming here and hoping to come up with something, ANYTHING to prompt Frogster to do something to fix things and seeing the hilarious stuff people come up with, has become WAY more fun than playing their game. How freakin sad is that.

LOL

btw, does Peggy sell diamonds?

Well I have been a main diamond seller since day one and I have stopped completely buying diamonds even when a decent sale or cash shop item is for sale. A couple other diamond sellers I know have done the same due to the epic fails and ongoing issues the game continues to have since I have been around.. just simply tired of the lack of customer support and open communication with the player base. Coming from a buyer that used to drop $100.00 U.S. almost every week and more on a good sale must not be important enough to the powers that be...

PS take the start time back to 9:00 pm CST plz..

With all of the unannounced 50% extra sales they seem to throw out every other day, they must be hurting for sales.

On a different note, is EU having the same problems? From looking at their forums it doesn't look like it. I would hate to start over on the EU side, but as I am about to quit anyway, I will be starting some new game from scratch regardless.

Having lived in Germany for two years, I could say sources on Hardenbergstrasse.

I also know I have discontinued my purchases of diamonds (none since the server move fiasco started the current problems versus a considerable amount regularly last year).

First time in a couple weeks i've logged in to try to attend siege. At 25min past the hour, i have relogged into RoM about a couple dozen times, since I log in, hit Enter Battle... wait a minute, everything fades out and boom, hello login screen. This occurred for everyone else, but i'm hoping that at some point i can somehow get in and get a win. I doubt it but it keeps happening over and over and over... groundhog day much?

@ the people that are supposed to be fixing siege.you had better get your act together. 30+ days to fix is NOT acceptable.someone needs to start doing their jobs.if i ran mt bussiness they way this one is being run,i wouldnt be able to buy anything.i would probably end up on the wrong end of a lawsuit.try pulling some of the eligium staff back.

Was one of few that got in today.Enter Battle button came up instantly as did the Siege war has started message. Guess I clicked best. My apologies to the other guild as they got no one in. Thanks though for the 1424 points beating you added to my guilds siege rating :-)

There was no lag though out siege and ping stayed at 94ish

The silence from Frogster about Seige is deafening

.

Someone of authority at Frogster please tell us something about what you are doing with Seige.

I own a computer business and know that dealing with technology issues can be a nightmare and are never as easy as those on the outside think they are.

However, the silence makes no sense to those on the outside. And the message we are getting is that you don't care. Since you are in business to turn a profit that makes no sense either.

After close of business Friday in Europe, we know we will hear nothing 'till Monday.

As I posted elsewhere - “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time." - Abraham Lincoln or P. T. Barnum (Your choice)

At least attempt to make some of us happy with substantive communication about Seige.

If all you did was move the time ahead one hour and things totally fell apart, please do an unplanned maint to move it back so at least there is something.

If you are going to shut down seige 'till you find a solution, just tell us and do it.

It seems to all go back to the data center move. What is different in the configurations between the old and new data center? Did you get hosed and discover that the new data center really can't meet your needs?

Of course, we have all kinds of theories that center around the upcoming anniversary and the business implications of it.

I realize that the powers that be only allow certain things to be said, but one would think something helpful can be said. Don't be concerned with the QQ'ers. They will always exist no matter where you are. Talk to those of us who are interested in hearing what you have to say.

There was an answer on this issue not long ago. They know they ahve server problems. They are looking at why the problems keep cropping up. Seeing as this is a F2P game, Frogster can only afford the best servers that they can afford to get their sticky hands on. Sales from diamonds drives what server service they can use. I am not trying to make Frogster look good but just attempting to let you know that they are doing everything they can to fix the server problem without shutting down siege completely and doing a complete recode (which is what might need to be done).

I don't understand why people keep talking about siege code!

Siege works in every other region with the exact same client. It may not be perfect but it does work in all its buggy glory.

The problem we in the US region suffer is due solely to poor configuration, bad hardware or a poor data centre choice.

This is Frogsters baby, not Runewakers!

Well duh, with only around 7 people able to get in Siege RoMwide, there better not be any lag.
