@Heretic- holy crap that was an awesome siege!

We had stupid lag patches randomly after the halfway point, but it looked like real server lag, cause the effected people had high ping. Mine spiked to over 600 when it was at it's worst.

The warden thing deus is talking about is his natural immunes + serenstrum I think. Holy God, he drove us bonkers though, so viva le wd/s lol!

The lag thing was making me scream at my computer screen though, especially when I was rushing forward there at the end, trying to get Knin back, and I would target, click skill, click skill, BANG KEYBOARD, nothing's happening... rubberband a bit, dead from lag :(.

Did you guys get lag too, and were we lagging to you?

Very fun siege indeed. You guys had our left side (your right side) for a good majority of the match, but our guys finally got it towards the end from what I understand. Was sad that I didnt see you personally Fanny (or maybe I did, and my guild went overboard with killing  ) We had the lag on our side too, at one point my ping hit the 900's and my fearless casted too late, and the guild got a little P'd off thinking I was just not paying attention :(

I came prepared this time, grabbed herald, wisdom buff always up, egg rice - and stole the attention away from my guildmates. Funny what a big druid with lots of mdef can do to a Notoriously (punny) spell-based guild. I got tickles all over from ice-blades :D

All gloating aside, very fun, and wish for more to come :)

well, good siege heretic. except for the people falling behind by a minute like before they fixed it. loved standing there, trying to heal people, and failing. also, you have a warden we'd like to talk to about being immune, could ya contact one of us? P:

so. we know last week, it was mostly working, and today, there was fall behind lag. also, for most of the day that i played, i was getting some mega ping spikes just plain doing things in game. more input for you froggy.

We had lag on our side as well, like I said earlier, mine hit 900 at one point during a fearless cast :\

As for our Warden, he's actually one of our guild leaders (we have many). Very skilled, very capable. I wouldnt be surprised if he was using the warden free phoenix buff and serenstum at all times. Also, he called for fearless a bit, so always take that into account.

I love having him on our side. The other night, the opposing guild set up a barrage of flame towers inside their castle, so we couldnt touch their gate. He types in guild, "Watch Chiron do work"....about a minute later all flame towers were gone lol

Again, geat siege, and look forward to more :)

I am so thankful that siege seems to be fixed now.

I know it is the highlight of the day for many players.

I hope the time change doesn't make it bad gain, but I am hoping it will work just fine.

Thank you SO MUCH for all the hard work that went into fixing siege ;)

With the daylight savings, it looks like siege will be one hour late...
1.5 hours before it starts and it hasn't starting matching up guilds yet...

Yep, it's happened every time change since RoM came out of beta. Froggie cares too little about its customers who love Siege to fix a known issue on the Sundays Daylight Savings Time changes, always waiting until Monday or Monday night.

Only half of those in our guild usually doing Siege were able to be there an hour late today.

And I clearly remember back in November of last year, when Frogster reset the server clocks and siege time on the Tuesday server maintenance the week *before* we went off DST, there were many, many more howls of protest that siege was starting too late for people on the East coast to participate.

Seems that Frogster simply cannot please anyone. Since things are so crushingly bad, Xyrrth, tell me again why you continue to play RoM...

In fact, I'll open that request to any and every one of the whiners here.

Talk about a glass half empty way of looking at your fellow players.

The truth of the matter is that the people who complain the most are also those trying to motivate change for the better with the game they enjoy playing.

The squeaky wheel gets oiled first. If customers only gave hoorays to a business, and never told the business when things were less than ideal, then the business would never grow to suit the customer's desires. This is why it is important for everyone to voice their concerns, desires, and criticism, so the best consensus can be determined.

You *DO* know that you are trying to have a discussion with a Fanboi, correct?

They never see the glass as anything but completely full. (Even if has tipped over on it's side.)

Not at all, tj. Consider the base subject, that being the time when siege was starting *after* the changeover to DST. That starting time was going to last a whole *two days* this time around. My God, the entire world was going to crumble to drifting dust because of this! It was absolutely unconscionable for Frogster to subject it's customers to such a fate! I DEMAND COMPENSATION FOR MY LOSS!!!

/sarcasm off

That's the kind of complaining that goes on most often here. Do you really mean to suggest that people wouldn't have been able to find something else to do, in-game or not, during the two entire nights that siege would have been too late in the evening for some of their fellow guild members to engage in siege? I'm sorry, but I just can't buy that explanation.

Bottom line here: Two days of siege starting one hour later is *not* going to 1.) cause the game to come to a screeching halt, 2.) make people decide to abandon RoM, and 3.) make one bit of difference.

Wow. While I appreciate the promotion to "Fanboi" [sic], don't you really think you toss that particular epithet around just a tad bit too much? You're one of the biggest whiners on the forums, and always happy to pass along your gross misinformation, lies, insults, and conspiracy theories at the drop of a hat. And you rush to drop that hat whenever you can. I'm surprised you don't have permanent whiplash from rapidly yanking it off your head as often as you do.

Oh really? Last night we had 4 people in my guild log in asking in guild chat "Did they fix siege time?" and when the answer was no, they logged right back out.

Guess what? They were all east coast US/Canadians too.

While I agree with you that this type of stuff isnt the end of the world. I do not understand why you would assume that others view things this way, because my observations of these forums paint a completely different picture of people expressing passions and desires.

I am just glad I dont view this game through your eyes :)

So agree to disagree :)

So they waited until maint down time to change the times on the servers instead of bringing them down out of schedule to do it.

So we are inconvenienced by an hour for 2 days. Talk about a 1st world problem.

God help us if the internet were to go down.

my new sig 8)

and yea, siege being later than usual is par for the course, every year at a minimum twice a year because of dst changing, everyone raises up a real s-storm. imigine what its like for people who live in states where they dont observe dst. twice a year we have to adjust to siege being at different times. for the whole season. so...get over it, its back to normal now for you who cry the sky is falling cause siege is later/earlier than normal. omg.

Actually, I do not see anyone whining here, but YOU. Any as always, my information is FACT or reasonable conclusions based on FACT, as witnessed by myself, or gotten first hand from Gameforge/Frogster/Runewaker employees, or from the players themselves, or the hackers themselves.

Of course Fanboi(s) are STILL allowed to name-call with no repercussion, which is further evidence of favoritism that the employees claim to not exist. For more entertainment, you can go translate the German EU forums for Fanboi(s) run amok with no adult supervision.

Weren't you just told in a different thread like 2 days ago that your information was false? and haven't you been proven wrong like.. All the time?

I dunno, could be the forum lurker in me.
