My guild was also booted form the seige list that we had a place for. This has happened the past 3 nights :(. I just ask for the devs to spend some time on seige since that is what seems to be the driving factor for players to stay, lvl, and spend money upgrading gear.

This is why they booted you from the list. They erased the list every time they increased or decreased the number of sieging guilds. You had to re-register right after they changed it, which was usually in the wee hours of the morning.

.

Had lag build during Seige tonight. About 10 to 15 sec by the end.

Poeple not able to upgrade, trade and some cases not even chat.

Did not siege for two days due to list resets. Tonight things started to get laggy 10-15 minutes toward the end - nothing major, but enough to make it less than enjoyable. Few other guildies experienced the same problem.

I'm surprised I haven't had a crash in siege for weeks (although after I say this I always start crashing lol). Had some less fortunate guildies though. Lots of logging off and on in guild chat during siege.

Also surprised that when we did field test, our siege preformance was much better than EU siege preformance during their field test (or did we not get 400 guilds during siege?). According to Yoman, theirs was completely unplayable. Ours was a little laggier, but mostly same old, same old.

Our sign-ups aren't anywhere near full. I didn't check this past week, but the prior week only got up to about 250 guilds.

We Siege almost every day and the lag is here every day. For most it is relatively light but irritating. Enemies are hard to target at times and people appear to jump around at others. Every now & then, you get rubber-banded back quite a ways.

lag also causes accusations of hacking due to the jumping around from some's point-of-view.

Wardens are still able to send their pets through closed gates & walls to attack things inside castles.

Rogues can shadow-step from outside castles to overlook areas but those there cannot target those below.

Fire towers still shoot through solid walls but can not be shot back at.

Re: Rogues can shadow-step ....

We caught one player from a guild we seiged the other night who used shadow step to get into our castle and destory one of our proc centers. After we killed him, I asked him how he got in - suggesting that he was using an exploit or hack because none of our guild castle gates had been taken down.

He openly replied that he had used a balloon as his target to shadow step inside. When you place flame or electrical towers inside your castle - they often draw balloon monsters inside your castle. Heads up to all those who do this because you can get exploiters.

I logged a complaint ticket against that player with a screen shot of the conversation so I hope that Frogster takes appropriate action and gives him an extended holilday to think about his actions.

Let's keep seige fun people - don't hack or use exploits. Take the gates down fair and square - its easy enough to do. Our guild does not tolerate any cheaters or hackers and hope that other guild leaders feel the same.

I suspect Siege is still a hack-fest these days. We were sieging the other night against a guild where certain players couldn't be targeted, mages that could "see" rogues in hide from a distance, and every single guild member was port-lagging. Who knows what the cause was. This from a guild that had over 25 people against our 14. It could be purposeful hacks, or just a game crash, or simply bad lag. Complaining about it is pointless since we don't see action taken by the game administrators.

Honestly, it happens so often now, I don't really blink, though I am against cheating in any form. Sadly, its the norm in siege, but it makes beating guilds that cheat or appear to cheat that much sweeter of a victory.

Again, some effort in making siege better and working out all the bugs would go a long way to level the playing field. Hopefully that will happen someday, since siege seems to be a very popular event.

We (Demonlord) sieged against a guild last night that had several players porting badly, however one in particular was obvious was doing it on purpose. It was a mage/priest that while I went behind our castle I seen him in our walls. he disappeared.
10 minutes into siege, without even ever taking a gate down he cleared out all our factories. If you go near him he would disappear. Few of their team was also porting but this was obvious a porting hack allowing him to walk thru walls.
Regardless when I seen him in our walls at the start of the match I started Fraps'n and after its processed I will post on Youtube and submit the complaint. Even tho we easily won against this unskilled team I worry for other guilds that have to encounter exploit gameplay like that.

The lag last nite was really bad for my guild and I. We had extreme difficulty with one priest who was porting a lot. I dont think that a ton of players cheat, porting is usually bad connection and lag and nothing you can do. Yes some people take advantage of it but I dont mind as long as its just porting. Also not completely understanding the game makes it easier for people to call hacks. I have been in castles that I took the gate down, people call haxes because they put the gate back up and some of their members didnt know the gate went down. Thing I want the most is for those with upgraded will to increase the height of the castle, so you can put to rest some of the people calling haxes.

We sieged a guild with a good ol battlemonk last night.

I popped an invis pot, with intent to run past him, get behind him to attack.

As I went to move, with the invis pot on, he made a b-line for me, then targeted me and hit me with Fighting Spirit Combination.

Hacking is indeed alive and common in siege :(

Also, as a side note... Nearly 1000 replies to this thread now. The European side has about 950 replies to their similar thread. Id have to say to Frogster... its about time you send this MASSIVE amount of customer feedback to the developers so some of these issues can be resolved.

Was siegeing against a larger guild a couple nights ago, and had a couple rubberbanding issues. I was at their Front gate, then all of a sudden rubberbanded back to the bridge.

Same old ****. Runewaker fails/neglects/unable to fix old bugs & Frogster doesn't apply suffcient pressure to make it happen.

The constant lag makes it hard to target people.

Wardens send their pets inside castle to attack things.

Rogues shadowstep inside castle.

Intersections of castle walls still allow exploiters to slip inside, especially with lag.

Guild castle housekeeper won't heal Siege injuries, 15 minutes after Siege ended (20:17 PDT).

Towers don't have the same LOS as players, ie they can shoot you but you can't return fire at times.

But we have stupid festivals instead of bug fixes, Runewaker needs get back to basics.

Tonight we sieged against a familiar guild, and their mage managed to jump into our castle and take down one processor. Wish they would fix the castle so that it actually defended.

Again. Me fergot that part. That mage hast done it in the past. Same mage, same guild. Shameful.
