HP stacking vs pdef/mdef on SW

Hi.
Im Rogue/Knight, trying to build some pvp gear. I noticed, that after Forge buffs on both sides are developed physical dps hit me significantly weaker and I hit them much stronger, than at the beginning of the SW, when nobody has buffs. My guess is that the physical attack vs physical defense formula favors defense, rather than offense, when it comes to SW buffs, however Im not sure about that, thats why Im asking - does anybody know why exactly it works like that? And if this is true will pdef/mdef stats be better, rather than clean HP stats? My current stats on SW, fully buffed - 224k hp, 200k pdef, 90k patt. My enemies have around 80-100k patt and, well, like 60-70k def, at most.

The defense buffs, if I recall directly, applies after your own defense v their atk is calculated, then it reduces it by the % amount of the buff.

So basically take what you're normally hit for and take the % off of what that would be with the defense buff included.
