As explained here, today we will launch the second phase of your Siege Wars Beta Field Test.

For this the amount of guilds that can participate in siege wars will be raised up to 400 instead of 200.

Based on yesterday’s results, our IT has reconfigured the servers, so the server settings will be changed today.
For this reason, we’d like to provide you with a new survey, starting at 7 pm PDT.

Again, please concentrate on performance issues related to this change, do not discuss already known bug reports or other issues. This thread will be moderated and opened shortly before the siege wars begins on the 29th of March.

 • Remain constructive and on-topic.
 • This thread is not open for discussions of Siege Wars in general or this change in general, please only give us your feedback in regards to performance related observations AFTER this change turns active, so after the Siege Wars from the 29th of March.
 • We will remove any comments who derail the thread from described goal and do not follow the given instructions.

Thank you very much for your cooperation so far.

Siege war was the same for me. All 1 hr of it. Some players seemed to be laggy but that is normal. The jump in how many guilds can enter has not hurt siege in any way when it comes to how it runs from what i have seen.

Note that the amount of guilds that are taking part in your test are not even close to the limit so in future if limit is keept high and more guilds take part there could be problems.

Also the poll gives no option to vote for same as always so i am unsure what to say.. do i lie? kinda breaks the point.

To me it seemed the same.

What zamorak said; I didn't notice any significant changes in the performance, unless you're asking if it was better than that 2 weeks of lag; in which case it was better. Kinda lucked out and for the last 2 sieges, haven't run into any ping throttlers, but we took a big drop in points due to it's use over the past week, so, not sure how things are now in the 1500+ ranks anymore.

Today we sieged another small guild so would have expected less lag issues but instead we all notice several players & one in particular lag porting, moving in roughly 200 range hops. All my guildies were seeing the same behaviour.

I really don't believe this has anything to do with ping throttlers, i think it has more to do with the server not handling the load.

I'm quite sure the other side was seeing us move in the same way because towards the end they started calling "hax".

Anyway, apart from the porting issues it was a great siege hard fought on both sides. Just a pity it was marred by the tired old "hax" chorus..

I do hope the max limit of guilds per siege is not raised because the siege server already struggles with the load.

Thank you for your feedback and support in this field test phase, which we now conclude as announced.

Today the maximum number of participating guilds will be returned to 200. Another field test might be coming next week, based on all feedback and our results from this one on EU and US servers. We will keep you updated if and when the next test phase will start.
