Siege Gate Glitch

Before anything else, I want to clarify I DO NOT WANT SIEGE GATES TO TAKE DOT DAMAGE. I like how this new change is.

On that note, the Debuff from the dot needs to atleast appear on the gate so that rogues can execute their rotation (meaning that they get the 3 hits from wound attack.)

This would require a rework of how gates take damage, entirely differnt from the rest of the game, but as it stands, rogues have just gotten glitched out on gates.

Again: make the debuffs appear but not cause dot damage.

Agreed. DoT nerf may have been needed but now rogues are totally useless in trying to help take down gates and buildings in a castle. They mine as well just sit in the enemy castle and start a friendly conversation. I like that sw isn't dependent on one class anymore - but making a class totally useless isn't balancing.

Here is the thing with gates now. No class really does any sort of dmg on them, as we all know. I am not bothered that WA is missing 2 attacks, as the dmg is so minimal on gates. THE only way gates are coming down now are with the Scrolls you get from the throne which are stat specific for dmg. We used 3 scrolls and a tornado on a gate and were able take em down last night. I honestly don't think that getting two more hits on WA will make any substantial difference. I just stood back from the gates and ganked peeps who tried to come from behind or jumped down on top of us.

I am still useful in SW lincabear :mad:.

I agree with brogue. The intention of a siege gate is to have it be "sieged". This means collecting scrolls from your guild throne, using herald tornado, using group cooldowns and instruments, and possibly siege machines (if they could ever survive, but that is a pvp damage issue that hasn't been solved since ch.2). In ppk we just adopted this strategy and still downed the gate. Albiet that it took us a bit longer. If everyone could do a ton of damage to a gate, a very enjoyable intentional portion of Siege War "Beta" would be lost.

Oh no, we got the gates down in less than a minute flat now by using siege scrolls. No issue there, but once rogues get inside there isn't much they can do to help. Watching Darwec try to take out a proc is like me trying to take out a proc now, lol - while mages are wiping them out.

RS you are the most useless of the rogues <3

They need to add more time limit to the gate putting up, what is it 20 seconds now? They need to make it like 1 min, or make the Tornado and scrolls at most 3 min cd.

yeah make it a 3 minute rebuild and 3 minute cd on scrolls! Also, they should be able to rebuild buildings in the castle! And I want a "summon T-Rex" herald skill.

I laugh out loud at this. R/S is the most powerful of all R. I assume you are either undergeared or not playing your class right. Or, you have not hit the min-max of endgame to see the full potential of all classes and class combos.

Also: sure maybe the damage you can do to a building without dots is minimal, but i still want to beable to use all my skills.
