Exactly why Draco is on forums right now. That's pretty much what it was last night for Heretic. They jump off castle and get one ~ two shotted. But we couldn't take their gates down. Siege was over in 5 minutes yet we were forced to stay in SW for another 55 minutes doing nothing. Wasted time for both sides. That's just stupid. There's almost no point in attacking the gate by yourself because it does almost no damage and the healers can match your damage. There's no point in bringing siege engines because they get one ~ two shotted by undergeared players. And to make it worse, the opposing guild set up Flames and Electrics very well inside their castle so that if you tried to use Tornado or Scrolls, you would get interrupted and can't cast them. Mage's Thunderstorm are unable to take out their defenses and you can't shoot through walls. Kudos to them for setting it up right, although they made it a waste of an hour.
One rogue soloing a gate is wrong. A guild that heavily outgears the other guild not being able to enter the opposing guild's castle is also wrong.

Since the patch, we have gotten into the enemy castle with scrolls exactly once, and had our gates broken into maybe twice.

Maybe in your sieges, since your a low lvl siege guild. But the ones we siege in 1 tornado and a scroll definitely does not take down a gate because of how fast and well the opponent healers are.

Sounds like a personal problem imo. TBT has broken down gates in almost every siege, and for those we haven't, it was because we were defending ours.
Don't space out when you use scrolls on gates then? Work as a team? Coordinate attacks? I don't know, all sound like reasonable answers.
If the healers are OP, then how would you expect to take their gates down anyways? Scrolls and tornado have always been the best way to take away the ability to have a healer heal a gate back up to full. If you want DOTS to be back and scaled and you want siege engines, you aren't going to take down the gate with either of those with an "OP healer" behind it. So I don't understand your point.
Also, any guild you'd roll over in 5 minutes, TBT faces on a regular basis. And I once again iterate, no problem with gates currently.

A bleeding and healable hate is totally weird. I think Draco just wanted the gate to have the bleed debuff so his low blow and wound attack would function properly.

Wait, the now top guild on Reni can't figure out how to take down a gate? Seriously? You all are doing something very wrong. Sorry Draco but I have sieged against top guilds since they changed the bleeds on gates and we had NO problem taking out gates. If you can't figure out how to take down a gate as a guild then um idk what to say. Its been posted in this thread and is correct and works great even when a gate is being healed.
Maybe you all can ask Raves for some help![]()
What is the point of having better gear then the opponent or what is the point of having your skills maxed, or your gear and weapons if you cant use it on gates?

i personally love the new no-dots on gates. Yes it made most of my toons useless for gates unless i have a scroll but it makes it 100x more fun and challenging. Stop QQing about this and learn to play new ways. What they do need to fix however is the totally worthless siege engines. They were designed for the purpose of taking out the gates, yet any 55 with half decent dps can take them down with little effort. I know there are buffs to reduce player damage but it maxes at 50% and when they're being hit for close to 200k sometimes that's still a 100k hit and look how many merits you wasted getting that silly buff too. Nah keep the gates like this, in fact can even make em tougher if you want idc lol. But fix those broken worthless siege engines. Oh to add from what was said earlier, yeah they need to still allow the bleed to be 'put on" the gates for follow up skills, but the gates be immune to the dot effect. Seems kinda crappy to block out several skills just for the sake of stopping dots, shouldn't be a hard fix to implement.
