Mage's Thunderstorm are unable to take out their defenses and you can't shoot through walls. Kudos to them for setting it up right, although they made it a waste of an hour.

One rogue soloing a gate is wrong. A guild that heavily outgears the other guild not being able to enter the opposing guild's castle is also wrong.

Sounds like a personal problem imo. TBT has broken down gates in almost every siege, and for those we haven't, it was because we were defending ours.

If the healers are OP, then how would you expect to take their gates down anyways? Scrolls and tornado have always been the best way to take away the ability to have a healer heal a gate back up to full. If you want DOTS to be back and scaled and you want siege engines, you aren't going to take down the gate with either of those with an "OP healer" behind it. So I don't understand your point.

Also, any guild you'd roll over in 5 minutes, TBT faces on a regular basis. And I once again iterate, no problem with gates currently.

Im sorry, i find it hard to believe that yours is the only guild that is using scrolls "correctly." Im not saying you cant break into a gate, im saying the current method of breaking into a gate is more moronic than the previous, and the previous was pretty terrible.

I dont see how there is no problem with gates when the ONLY ONLY ONLY way to take them down is with throne scrolls. How...how is that ok? Please give me an explanation of how that makes sense as a decent strategy for siege.

I want siege weapons to be useful, I want other ways to take down a gate. I DONT want it to go back to whoever has the best R/S that can bleed the gate. That is just moronic. And that is EXACTLY what Draco wants. He wants it to go back to how it was before, which is NOT how it should have been in the first place, and is NOT what should happen.

A bleeding and healable hate is totally weird. I think Draco just wanted the gate to have the bleed debuff so his low blow and wound attack would function properly.
But seriously, a building that bleeds... Really weird.

Nope, Draco wants to be able to solo bleed a gate in under 2mins while hidden. That was and still is a bad system

if siege weapons didnt glitch across the battlefield i would still use them. but the jump jump jump i used to always get on my screen is hard to watch. that and they fall into the earth occasionally.

Wait, the now top guild on Reni can't figure out how to take down a gate? Seriously? You all are doing something very wrong. Sorry Draco but I have sieged against top guilds since they changed the bleeds on gates and we had NO problem taking out gates. If you can't figure out how to take down a gate as a guild then um idk what to say. Its been posted in this thread and is correct and works great even when a gate is being healed.

Maybe you all can ask Raves for some help ;)

i used to play r/w and all it was good for was gate bleeds bleeds/dots suck in pvp and are negligible in pve the one moment where my class could shine was where i could hack and smash a gate down I would like to see dots become stronger not weaker obviously they were op in siege but on a whole they were useless with the exception of siege now they are just useless

I would also like to see the scroll thing fixed seems like it never did as much as the int counterpart anyway so that gives them a chance to tweak it perhaps

i think a good solution to the siege wep thing would be to just be able to assemble them at the gate like they do in an actual siege give it a loading bar and some def it shouldnt be just a two shot wonder to take one down

I dont mind the no bleeds, tho I'd rather the bleeds appear, and the gates just be "immune" to them so I can use wound attack. Would be nice to see that on the buildings also.

1) my argument here is taking both gates, The first one isnt that hard, while u take down one, the scrolls/tornado is on cooldown
2) (half the time) you cant use tornado because of a million electric towers, which i give props to the other guild
3) Siege wars should not be based on whoever can collect scrolls fastest or whoever has the most scrolls.
4) It takes merits to buy scrolls, which isnt much its only 300 but the fact that people crash...you lose them
5) I personally dont crash but as we all know 99% of rom crashes every 10 minutes.
6) And when you do have a scroll, by the time you are about to use it on the second gate, your most likely to crash inside their castle and lose it, once again i personally dont but as we know most do.
7) Would you please please care to explain rogue how taking down gates with the scroll is the only way, is a right way to do it?
8) What is the point of having better gear then the opponent or what is the point of having your skills maxed, or your gear and weapons if you cant use it on gates?

Please explain to me how this is right. I would love to have an explanation to this.

i personally love the new no-dots on gates. Yes it made most of my toons useless for gates unless i have a scroll but it makes it 100x more fun and challenging. Stop QQing about this and learn to play new ways. What they do need to fix however is the totally worthless siege engines. They were designed for the purpose of taking out the gates, yet any 55 with half decent dps can take them down with little effort. I know there are buffs to reduce player damage but it maxes at 50% and when they're being hit for close to 200k sometimes that's still a 100k hit and look how many merits you wasted getting that silly buff too. Nah keep the gates like this, in fact can even make em tougher if you want idc lol. But fix those broken worthless siege engines. Oh to add from what was said earlier, yeah they need to still allow the bleed to be 'put on" the gates for follow up skills, but the gates be immune to the dot effect. Seems kinda crappy to block out several skills just for the sake of stopping dots, shouldn't be a hard fix to implement.

So your saying your completely cool with the fact that the only way to take down a gate is with scrolls? Learn to play new ways? why should i when the new way is fail. Seems like the only reason you like this patch is cuz ur gates were getting powned before this patch, lawl.

I'd rather have scrolls and tornado than bleeds taking it down in the first 2 minutes of siege. At least scrolls and a tornado make some sense.

A castle is the fortress.
It was was never intended to be capped in the 5 mins or less by an individual class. Having the dot damage removed from gates and building creates more of a team work based attack. The good guilds that use strategy and team work have no problems capping a crystal. It's just not as fast, which is how it should be.
It can be done without scrolls....they just speed it up.
It seems the larger valid complaint is getting items (scrolls) then crashing. Thats an entirely different issue that RW refuses to address.

Siege is a battle of teams, not a battle of who has more dots or rogues.

I find it humorous how it's mostly Rogues complaining. It's bad enough they can run around and 1 shot most in siege without ever coming out of hide, and now that there needs to be some team work to enter an opposing teams fortress they whine about it.
Is this the state of this game now? If one person can't bring down both gates using no strategy it's "stupid"?
If you can't burn it...QQ about it?
