Lost Siege Points

I do not know if this is really an issue, or more of an annoyance to me. Being a part of Pandemic in the past I remember the big time guilds: Pandemic, Legacy, Valkryie (I don't know how that was spelt), PPK, and a few others I have probably forgotten. Well anyways, these guilds racked up the siege points and then disappeared. I feel like this is a waste of siege points. The points they accumulated are now out of the system. I would fix this, but I lost access and lead to Pandemic to one of the original leaders. Just curious how other people feel about the lessened siege point pool. For example: if PPK disbanded now and everyone quit that would be 100k+ siege points gone from the system. Eventually winning a siege may grant you one siege point. Scores will be in the single digits. I suppose that incoming guilds introduce new points, but I do not think enough to balance the pool.

I am not sure if it is a problem. Though it does make it a lot harder if you have a goal of getting X amount of points.

Siege points can be 2 digits or 300 digits, who is ranked 1-etc would still be the same.

The siege points being taken out don't really hurt the balance to much overall. It might make problems for Guilds with under 200 points though are they really guilds?

At least i am a mean person hehe, guilds points drop under 500 would no longer be allowed to siege war on a daily bases.

Then the amount of Siege points flowing might become more important.

I don't think its much of an issue, at least not yet. We've seen Valk gather up 180k points, quit, than go off to Bteam, gather another 25k points, then quit, then now go to Failure and will gather up who knows how much points, then Pewpew gathering 100k points, XG 25k, etc.

And the point system is still about the same. My guild has still stayed with 2k point range with the same amount of endgamers. 2k point guilds haven't gotten any harder.

But of course you guys could also allow other guilds to win against you to loosen up some of those points. That would be nice too :D

XG won't be getting anything over 5k points in the long term future. Old leads came back and we migrated our 60+ active members elsewhere. Theres only 5 active members tops left in XG, and no respectable tosh-ready individuals. Look out for Clockwork o.o

(If anything, our guild is even stronger now than before ;) )

Back on topic: Each time someone creates an alt guild, they add 1k points to the system if they sign them up, dead guild or not. So there will always be a steady flow of points, but yes, there is "untapped" points left now that will probably not be touched any time soon. Guess we'll all have to earn our points the old fashioned way :)

Our 2.5k point guild has been matched up vs PPK twice in the last month, my biggest fear isn't getting my rear handed to me, its them taking a night off them one of our new players taking one of their towers in true newb form leaving us with an extra 10k points. That's alot of losses on the way back down to the 2-3k brackets.

Its more likely that they'll still take your honor crystal though. Even if half of them didn't show up, they still have dozens more endgamers.

As long as Kanuu and Sacred are in siege, you're screwed. Without those two.. PPK is much less scary. Although BB is a notable mention as wel.

We're all noobs!

Also, we have *some* of the server's strongest. We're by no means composed of ALL the strongest players on Reni. As far as I can see, that will never happen in the near future :\

I've always believed if Reni were to have 1 guild with *all* the strongest from every guild, we would roll siege no matter which server/guild we'd face. There is some serious talent out there.

If we merged with Heretic, we would be practically unstoppable. Though some of the people in Phoenix have merit.

The SW score points didn't disappear because those guilds didn't disappear. I don't think there's an option to DE-register your guild from the server? They are forever the specific guild's points, unless whoever still in that guild lose it to someone again.

Guilds come and go just like players come and go. When a player decides not to play any more, his/her gold, gear, honor points, TP points and titles farmed can also be looked at as a "waste" once he/she's gone? But that's just how it is.

SW points stay with guild. Honor points stay with player. It makes perfect sense to me.
