There is rooted attitude/drama on Reni that stems back to the split of a certain individual from Wanted, creating Ragnarok, then rag v wanted v forsaken kings, merger of taintedblood and rag, then just rag v wanted, then the split of rag and merger of a faction of rag and wanted into Noteworthy with the other faction of rag going to exiledemonhorde, FK breaking from heretic creating XG, then the breaking of noteworthy, merging with heretic and breaking of EDH and XG/phoenix picking them up, and now migration of XG to clockwork due to a leadership dispute with old forsaken kings members (which was one sided and barely lost anyone).

Yeh, this crap is unbelievably hard to follow. But its also why Reni is so split. Lots of rooted hate. A lot of the old timers are still key players...some have let the past go, some have not. We all get dragged.

Reason we don't world shout all this drama is we don't feel the server should be involved. Trust me, since I've been playing, guild v guild drama has been quite the profit for Frogster megaphone-wise. Enough with the hate, and we'll quietly do our thing.

Someone should really write down the history of Reni endgame guilds from back to at least late chap 1 to early chap 2. I'm sure it would be a very interesting read.

Guild(that was the name of the guild) and Legend merge to become Wanted. That's pretty much it for endgame guilds on reni until chap 3, Dirty Pirates and a few others tried to keep up but no one was really in the same league as them.

The only reason people caught up imo was DoD providing easy endgame stats and the scout burn allowing everyone to stomp the content.

It's so weird too, in a way, because you all seem to actually get along pretty well, you just can't all pick a guild and stick with it. Maybe it's just because I only know the we-get-along people and not the divisive annoying people, but it seems like you all squabble less than we do. Plus, Palenque's never really managed to sustain more than one endgame guild at a time for any meaningful period of time- something which isn't really healthy, but it's what we have, so... we can't really relate.

Ahhh, Reni. Life would be boring without you all. And yeah, yeah, you can tease us, but you know you'd miss Palenque if we were gone. We add a certain something... drama maybe.

@ Kalvan, I hope this doesn't count as a derailment, since we are talking about lost siege war points. How those points got lost, the history of servers and guilds, is kinda relevant.

Meh, there is a core group of us who will always find some way to run together no matter what guild we are in. I like to think that is headed by myself and Noobsden. More so Raves, as I am a crotchety old man at times. This is at end game btw. I have pretty much been running with the same group of people since Ragnarok disbanded, though they may have had different guild tags. Khal, Holy, Gama, Raves are just a few who I will always find time to raid with and troll.

Nope. And having one big mega guild on Reni does no good. We would end up like Palenque and no one wants that .

What you have to admire about Heretic is they don't care where the tide is flowing. They have their OP, and stick with each other. Loyalty to one another. Referring to the core group that's been there since the start btw. Id like to think I left on good terms with most, if not all of them. They're a very talented group, yes small, but they carry their own weight...and more.

Think most of us are just tired of the drama and want to play the game. Just so happens we're composed of tank/dps/heals We all have connections that we can reach out to for help if needed. Guild tag is just for sw. Individually we know who we can count on.

This was great to read... and glad EDH is now apart of reni history >< might not be in the way i planned a long time ago but it works lol but roguespawn gave me great fatherly advice a while back and i have listened wholeheartedly.. >< so many people r gonna take that the wrong way.. but its ok flame away.

And now MGK is a fully grown adult S/K that I can like...y'know, actually heal and not have all my efforts go to vain because he's 1 shot like the rest of our squishy dps >.< Worked quite well against Bteam. 3 of some of Reni's best healers on one of Reni's best geared S/K's is just a roadblock needing a bulldozer to move aside.

They always went for the squishy drood tho >.< War record shows most dmg taken: S/K, K/S, D/S....guess who the d/s was x.x

MGK was like our own little Mini-Kanuu. Was kind of nice being P/K again.. you know.. sort of fun when you're healing someone besides yourself. o.o Usually it's "Heal Darwec unnecessarily, oh Darwec's dead, Heal Raves till Dps get back"

I was in that siege, and ur s/k didnt really do much tbh it was ur p/s yuhwa that kinda turned the tables that siege tbh

no i def dont hit as hard as kanunn, but still was one hell of a nuisance to kill, and gave others PLENTY of time to get back which tbh WAS key.

and oh dont worry.. i got another toon for pve now... soo mgk is now gonna be full pvp, which means fun restatting time , only gonna get stronger and stronger now lol

Kanu does not hit hard mgk, if you have some pdef on you. I go in with 170-200k pdef and get hit for around 30k by him/her/it. Our p/k's get hit for next to nothing, as they are pdef addicts.

Be great if we could SW with Yuhwa and Waldrick and MGk and Aris , then MAYBE we could beat Phoenix, cause you know they are the best guild on Reni.

well you know me when i get serious about something lol, in the last couple hrs since my post ive already gotten 4k more hp and 5k more pa, plan on restattin like 4 more pieces b4 tnite LOL becuz i CAN haha
