HI, Im Jakess i love magef

bcz im a druid and wisdom and magdef stated together im a super magdef stater o: mages and priest/scout wont stand a chance against my awesome defenses sadly i wish i had priest magdef buff on me at all times that would be awesome(stats i use the most hp/magdef hp/def stam/hp wisdom/magdef) i hope everyone sees that magdef can become very use full as a druid and always stat ur wisdom u wll be happy u did

also healing bonus clothing as well that give mag crit and boost ur rings to +16 u will heal super great if u wanna do a little dmg dont stat int doesnt give much magatk just use magatk stat yellows but not to many staffs with balanced magatk and magdmg would be huge i got hit with a 40k earth arrow before with about 72k magdef wasnt fully buffed though and wasnt fully stated

It's alright if you are only interested in pvp...in pve though, stating mdef over stam or pdef is just going to get you killed at every corner.
Not to mention wisdom itself gives plenty of mdef, yes magic based classes hate it when people stat mdef (except w/m's, its a 1 hit either way

)...but those rogues love you for the easy target

Well, first off, props to the OP for thinking outside of the "conventional wisdom". That said, I still have no respect for Mdef.

Sure, the magic casters in PvP will hate you with high Mdef & Wis. But every slot you use for MDef instead of HP/Def makes it easier for physical attackers to kill you. And NPCs use much more physical attacks than magic.

For Mdef to become worthwhile,
- NPCs in instances would need to commonly use very strong magic-based attacks, and/or
- Magic attackers would have to hugely outnumber and outpower physical attackers in PvP.

P/K do get both Pdef and Mdef to an extent, which is a bit annoying, although Raves seems to have quite a bit of Pdef as well, since he mostly gets hit for 25k Lowblows from his vid, where I get hit for 200k Lowblows from guilds of similar points.
