And I got to face another forum dweller. This time is was one and only Gigi and Eternal, of Palenque.

We had quite a few more points and a few more people, so expected a relatively easy time... but it was down to the wire. Both mids were in play, and to the last minute it was possible that both would be taken. It was a clean fight that I've heard from my guildies, although very laggy in certain areas, so there was some frustration with the way damage came and went. Didn't seem to be attributable to anything shady, though.

Anyway, good fight, and good job, Eternal.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Fought faction tonight and was a major lag fest but really fun. Had to keep resummoning pet from auto attacking electrics on roof. Overall a fun time though, we thought you would have had a lot more in than you did too

Fun siege vs. Eternal (Palenque) tonight. I even managed to kill Gigi a couple of times (IB, VA, Shot, Holy Aura + Candy, IB, RT, dead Gigi FTW!)

Ended up as a tie, which works fine for me.

Good siege Disturbed. Was awesome to have like 10 people pile on me with stuns, silences, and debuffs as soon as I left the castle >.>

Sorry about our poor head count, fewer and fewer people logging on since this week, its a very disturbing trend...

Though Zid, you were laggy. Often get target too far away when you were standing beside me, and combat log showed me getting hit by 2 Rising tides at a time while me screen showed you running and jumping around me like a real wabbit lol.

Yes thx for the siege, but damn freaking lagfest. You were on my screen around me and couldn'T attack you at all ;-(. Then next time around i have the time to fire 2 rising tide lol, sad to see this.

Can someone do something about this?? last 4 sieges at around 42 minutes in, boom lag start with 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec, this is just stupid. I relog before siege, i crash in siege and relog and still the lag is there WTH?? I have a beefy computer and cable connection with 7MS ping and 70FPS out of siege, so not me as per my previous post elsewhere. FIX IT!!!! PLEASE!!!

I was lagging as well, your guild had a lot of geared players on our right side your left side (mid) so I eventually switched sides and seemed to get kills easier on the left side your right side. (mid) :p good fight though. I'm not sure what you meant about "damage came and went" though, however the defense upgrade did seem to help us alot.

kill me.. were you ettebob? the annoying p/s that used every immune possible to kill me? xD jerk :P nah it was a fun seige I figured it was over until the end, atleast we tied i got 13 badges :) I prolly would've been more effective in that seige as a healer but meh.

In some sieges there are some players that seem to be too often not taking any damage (or causing too much damage for their gear and buffs). That is when shady things are suspected, especially if it is only one or two toons that are that way. In SW against you, there weren't any such suspicious incidents. There were a few times that damage didn't seem to register, but it has more of a "lag" pattern than "someone is doing something" pattern.

Naaaah, Mal is from different day and different guild. Ette is in Knightshift and, yes, she is one of those annoying P/S types. I'll tell her that she made a good impression... :p

Nah, I'm Huntersticker from Fortuna (Osha). And yes, I pretty much had to use immunes and what passes for a "rotation" for we poor, screwed over P/S players. It was a race to see which of us would survive. This was the first time in more than 3 months that Fortuna had faced your guild. You've got some really good players, but boy howdy, some of them were *really* laggy. Goes with the territory south of the border, I think. :D

What little healing I could do was pretty much negated when I was trying to heal Alfs at (from our perspective) the "right-middle" tower, and four of your people muckled onto me instead of him once they figured it out. I croaked, then Alfs croaked shortly thereafter.

These days, I seem to be far more effective (relatively speaking, of course) when farming balloons next to the castle (early stages), then collecting up merits from people, getting Herald and setting up crystal extractors, then collecting merits to get building discounts and boosting att/def bonuses, and bringing defenses out. Every so often I venture out to farm balloons in the middle zone or, if we're in a position to attack a gate, provide Tornado.

We mistimed the Fearless cap, so we ended up tying. But I'll take 13 badges over 5 badges any night. :D

Oh, we have our share of players with lots of lag, rather latency issues. Comes from using wireless connections or living where the Internet isn't. But there were complaints, sort of, in our RaidCall that several of your players were difficult to target, or were seeming to port around. Could just have been the usual client-server-client lag. I didn't seem to have those issues, but I wasn't coming forward to the middle zone very often.

And yeah, that was me. It's what I do now, pretty much.

Speaking of Palenque guilds:

Shoutout to Loreleifury, good, tough siege vs. us (Fortuna, Osha) last night. You've got some tough customers.

I capped last tower at the 45 second mark and damn if our healers don't deserve a medal for keeping me alive through the gauntlet y'all through my way afterwards.

ppk tonight, 7/3 their win, but a good fight. I really got to start drinking milk for our next match, 300k rouges are not something to mess around with. Happy we kept it to a tower win was a lot of fun
