Eternal fell apart =( some went to MA(like myself) others Dova. Our guild leader was having health issues (sahary) so he disbanded guild(not sure when hed be able to play again)
Sorry to hear that, I was basing what I said on your sig. Perhaps an update to it is in order.
And the issue(s) you mentioned seem similar to ones that Faction had on Osha, though I believe that was more of a personality problem their now-former GL had/has. Ruined a perfectly good guild and caused several people to just up and quit the game, or so it seems. I'm guessing the rest of them found new homes.
Back on topic...
Last night (05/24), Fortuna had a nail-biter siege versus Flyingtacklehugs. We were initially outnumbered 14-7, but the late additions of three other players on our side helped turn a probable loss into a tie. I went through too damned many Unicorn pots in that one. Well-played, people!
PS: We sieged against FTH about 6 nights before, and Elkemaye, a very good player, BTW, was rather upset with me. I was playing my 64/62 R/M, and managed to stop him/her from getting to our castle A-side tower very late in the siege. Here's how that little scenario went down:
Elke was on a mount (+60 or +65 speed, non-winged horsie-type, *not* a 75% speed Rune Disk), heading to the middle zone from their B-side. (I don't think Elke was using a Galloping Gale or had Thunder Force running, and he/she was not Herald.) I *was* Herald, and had just hit Thunder Force, and had gone into Hide. I began to chase Elke down on foot, starting from the slope above their B-side bridge. I was catching up to Elke slowly and probably would have gotten close enough by the time we'd both gotten to the end of *our* A-side bridge. Elke had just gotten to the middle crystal tower there.
We had two or three Electric Towers at the middle crystal tower, and their combined attack(s) dismounted Elke. I was then able to catch up before we got to the A-side bridge (on the slope down to that bridge, in fact), and once in range I used Combo Throw and Throw to damage (took about half of Elke's health), then finished things off with Low Blow and Shadowstab. Then came the complaints that I couldn't have outrun him/her in Hide.
Elke didn't quite so (in /Say) to me, but was hinting that I was using a speed hack while in Hide. I tried to explain, but he/she rezzed out before I finished explaining.
Here's the full explanation: I was Herald (30% movement speed boost), Thunder Force (30% speed boost), both of which more than negated the 40% speed reduction of Hide+50. Had Elke not been dismounted by the Electric Towers, I still had Sprint+50 (40% speed boost) in reserve, along with Mad Rush+30, Spellweaver (pot), and Godspeed (pot), all of the latter three in a macro. Of course, once I used Combo Throw, I was no longer in Hide so I had the full speed buffs from Herald and TF.
*All* of those skills will stack--I think, I'm not sure about Sprint--which explains why Rogues can zip along as quickly as they do in Siege. I know that Herald, TF, and the MR +30 + Spellweaver + Godspeed macro will stack. I've run (literally) down and killed other players who were riding Rune Disks while using that skill and potion combination. The first time some of my guildies saw me rocket past them (on my P/S), they were wondering how I did it. That's how.
I don't know if Elke reads the forums, but if someone from FTH sees this, please convey this information to him/her. Fortuna does not and has never hacked, cheated, or otherwise intentionally exploited in Siege, and we're not about to begin doing that.
By the way, just what exactly *are* "Flyingtacklehugs"? Enquiring Minds Want To Know!(TM)
