It would work as long as people were mature about it. cm/gm could delete posts that don't conform (you could ask one to keep an eye on that thread). This thread isn't the place though :p even if you were the one to start it. I DO think you should talk about it, but not on this thread

that was the power of the dawntreaders site and their forums..knowledge. no matter how tight a ship you think you run a guild..you never know who is doing what all the time.

Bottom line, some of you are infamous QQ'rs. Siege could run perfectly and you would still find something to QQ about.

Siege has and always will be broken, if it doesn't work for you, don't play.

Yep, makes sense when guilds in 1k range get Core to fight.... and when they show up...

Sorry, but Bakken has a point here... don't sign or remove sign if nobody will go into SW....

Signing for SW and NO BODY entering is point dropping. No excuses.

You not showing to SW is no different then rolling alts into SW...

Logic here is simple to follow - sign for sw and do not show = point dropping.

Same goes for guilds that decide to stay on the roof in SW. We were mismatched with much stronger guilds before (2-3K, like Noto), but we did everything we could to prevent them to get into castle and take crystal. We all agreed that we hate that being done to us and we like to fight, even if we are loosing.

Not showing up for siege is not a crime nor wrong, if we don't have anyone on we find something to do, were a pve based guild and always have been.

Go ahead and keep pushing your expectations and what not onto others though. o.0

P.S - Siege isn't the only thing in this game for other guilds, maybe for yours though.

True, SW is main thing in my guild...

So if is not big deal, do not sign if you don't participate to have enough folks to run, or just sign off before SW preparation starts. Is is unfair for smaller guilds when they get something like Core against them in low 1K range.

It is simple solution...

Sign off? still not fair, someone will not have a siege partner, and can also only do that 2 hours before, never know until last minute who will be there.

What's the difference between 0 people showing and 5 people showing? It's basically the same thing. There are a couple of reasons for the guild you are matched up with not showing up. Either you outmatch them that it's pointless, or people are simply busy with real life and are not able to make it to siege that night. Telling a guild to not sign up is not fair because they will not know how many people will be there until the time siege starts. I know it's the same with Heretic. On days we will have no one on until its SW time. Then out of nowhere ten people log on. Other nights SW time comes and no one logs on. We have 7 people online, 2 are afk. What do you want us to do? We won't win with 5 people. Not showing up or just going in for badges and not trying is what people will do. You don't waste my time, I don't waste your time. We each go our way as soon as SW is over. I hate those that delay the inevitable, such as those that drop towers on the roof after we destroyed everything in the castle already. You are wasting our time and you are wasting your own time. Nobody likes it when people wastes their time.

You are not going to win SW being heavily outnumbered and outmatched. This is Rom, there are no real tactics. I'm sure everyone would rather win than lose, but by not showing or not trying, you are losing by forfeiting. It is still a loss. And I agree, gaming itself is a waste of time, however they may be doing something else constructive in the game, such as dailies, mini games, or questing. It is a waste of real life time, something you do when you have time to waste. Gaming is not a commitment, you should expect the same for siege.
