Will a close to even siege war ever happen again??

Since the change to multiple sieges, there has been very few sieges to where they match up. I normally siege once a day, and have noticed it is now either a no show in siege or a uneven matchup. Seem there is some guilds that may be dropping points to get easy packages, not a uncommon practice from past, but now it seems worse.
They need to make all the siege or declaration of war against a random person, so there is at least a chance they don't drop points. The way it looks right now, you can go into siege reg and see how they are paired. You will see what looks like sieges against Guilds on there own servers, with a hi point (600 or more) difference. Please stop people from sieging alt guilds to lower points. Before they would hop back and forth from guilds and ride the wins up as one guild goes down then swap. Now they just siege a alt guild, and get merits on both sides, twice the packages.
Am I the only person to notice this since the change?????
I like to siege for the challenge against other guilds, not to be over ran in 15-30 minutes by a guild with 3 times the amount of geared toons, or for a no show as they are letting the score go back down.

You're obviously not aware of it, but when you declare against a guild you don't get winner/loser packages. You only get them from a "normal" siege.

Even the "real" siege (auto matchup by game, NOT declare war) seems very imbalanced right now. As a 2k point guild, prior to this change, we usually get matched up with guilds around 2k points. But since the change, we have only had 1 fair match so far. Even though there are usually several other 2k point guilds registered, we'e been getting matched with either 1400 point guilds, or guilds with at least double our points.

I've looked at the other matchups over the course of several days as well, and this seems to happen to many guilds. I saw several 3k guilds paired with 1k guilds, etc. From my observations, siege match ups seems more random now than based on points.

Our guild do be havin issues wit tryin ter get usered ta the new time. We hast been over-matched many times, an others, too few on our side show. Several times we hast been callered "point droppers" (which we aren't), but ppl doth need ter realize that this be a MAJOR game change, an there twill be adjustments throughout the system ter this change. Hold onter yer Bibpants.

New siege arrangement with 6.0 had two major negative effects:
1. Number of guilds sieging at any 1 time went down drastically. This means that the number of guilds near any given point level went down drastically. This means that the chances of a "good siege" (evenly matched) went down drastically.
2. Now there are 2 main times: one for east coast and one for west coast. And 0 siege times that are OK for both. If your guild chooses the other time, then you simply can't participate.

Of course, there are a few people that could not make the old time, so it's better than nothing for them. But the quality of play just went way down for most people for siege. Yes, there will be some re-adjusting as a few folks move to guilds that siege at a time they can make and guilds' points adjust to what players can make the new times. That may help a little bit to make things better in future, but it will never overcome the 2 problems listed above.

The obvious solution is to make 1 time that works for the majority of people. Ideally start at 9PM eastern/6PM pacific. The old time of 10PM eastern/7PM pacific would be 2nd choice. Having other times is fine - there are a few guilds that will use them probably. But need the majority of folks all in 1 pool. Otherwise the quality of play goes WAY down, as we're seeing currently.

Sad, siege has been the only part that has kept me and the wife in the game..... And now the last of the fun is slowly going away....

I know we all love to grind for our lvl's and pay horrible costs to upgrade..... But for one hour a day we had fun testing skills, not testing how much I dropped to mod, or how quickly I can take a empty castle, or even worse how quickly I win against a guild with half the gear.....

Seriously disappointed with siege and the unbalanced matches.

losing interest to stay after 4+ years.... Sad days.... Very sad siege nights....
