Question about a skill

I see a particular r/m use a skill a lot that gives him a bubble. same as pk bubble, hes immune. anyone know what this is and if its a r/m skill, a item set skill or what it is. google has been useless. the guy wont tell me what it is because he says then everyone will have it. thanks for any answers. I would to get this guy off my nemesis list.

Hearld bubble. If hes immune to just magical damage it could be the warlock defense buff. Vengeance Sting reduces redcived physical damage and magical damage by 10% for 4 seconds and looks kind of like wave armor.

this isn't in siege. looks just like herald bubble tho, and hes always solo. annnd been doing it since before dwarfs arrived,

he might well have pk bubble...not sure how exactly it works, if it breaks if he enters combat or anything, but is this occurring after he's hit you? it may be possible to use death macro and get immune, but i'm not sure, i don't play on a pvp server...

i honestly don't really know what he using, but i can at least try and help you figure it out for urself...

one more question, does this "skill" he has make a bubble appear around him and the word "immune" pop out from above his head? or is he actually immune to hits?

it plays out like this, hell be standing in front of me, ill throw a root at him, he pops a bubble around himself, and is immune to any further attack. it does not break when he is attacking me. as im trying to attack him, but he still has the bubble and cant be hit.

if u root him, and a bubble appears around him with "immune" popping out of his head, whether u attacked him or not, he is probably using pvp gloves to unroot himself...not sure about the immunity, but he probably has an "oh, crap, i'm being hit" macro, with pvp gloves, candy, and probably all of his dodge buffs...

also, does he "dodge" the attacks, or is he "immune"? i assume ur using physical, if magical, it would be "resist" or "immune"

The vengence sting skill gives you a very short duration buff in the form of a bubble similar in looks to a mages shield that reduces all damage recieved by 10% (i think its 10, its def not high)...only lasts like 5 seconds...so my guess is he is simply using Candy or Serenstum (idk what you'r attacking with) as soon as he gets hit.

@ cammo, its not vengeance sting, I found him afk just amoment ago in tower of wailing wind, and his vengeance sting hit me for 15k and then 30k to kill my lvl 60 scout. he had no buble about him.



xamd, its usually in Heffner camp that I encounter him, with his bubble. of all people on indigo, I respect your knowledge about all things rom. so what do you think?

Well here's the most likely answer:

One of the old bag quests you get in heffner camp near the pirates gives you 3 skills: A "taunt nearby pirates" skill, a "bomb all the nearby pirates skill" and an 8s immunity that breaks upon movement. I believe that is the source of your enemy's immunity (I am unaware if the immune breaks while attacking), and also the reason why its only in Heffner -- once you leave the area around heffner camp you lose the skills.
