Diminishing returns

I want to buy diminishing returns for flame towers.

I'm tired of being permafeared in siege. It's not even remotely fair for any player.

...there are more than enough ways to get around flame tower fears, so if you have problems with it, ask around...

i really don't see the issue here...

bring a mage into siege if flames are an issue...siege is not designed to be a 1 man show...

I don't see how its unfair. Flames fear everyone, and can be setted up by everyone.

Even for mages, its only an advantage if no opponent player is guarding a tower. If there is an opponent player, the first hit will easily take out a mage's shield (well actually, that first hit will probably kill the mage too... lol), and we get feared just like everyone else. If nobody's guarding those flames, I've seen players of seen every class clear 10 upgraded but unguarded flame towers around a tower.

Magic immunes also prevent fear from flames I think.

pretty much what i was talking about...

and yes, as long as the mage keeps his bubble up, they are the best flame destroyer imo, but like ruisen stated, any class with an aoe can easily take out all the defenses on a tower in a couple seconds...

There is also a scroll that can be bought from the throne that turns a tower and makes it yours. Desertion Scroll I think is what it is called.

yes, but that requires an obscene amount of time to channel(15 sec iirc, or 1 fearless), and is interrupted by damage or movement...

unless they changed it since last time i used one...

Really? Flame towers are too hard now? Mind boggles.

Well i do understand for lower levels it might be an issue, but at level cap, they are easy as hell to take out. I would like to see a real upgrade to tower guards, make them level 100 at least, i can one shot the small guards and 2 or 3 shot the big ones on my knight, other classes just 1 shot them all. Upgrade the guards to 100, make flame towers and electrical tower hit for a lot more, i'd say double their damage and defenses.

And yes then it will be hard for lower levels to get a tower and blabla, well it might incite them to level and gear up their toons.

It would make siege for lower levels placing defenses on home towers worth the effort at least

You do realize that at the current level cap (82), it would be damned nigh impossible to take out tower guards that are lvl 100. especially if there are players helping to guard the tower. If you want an example, take a lvl 65 toon (any class combo, preferably dps) along in a party to GG with a lvl 82 toon (again, preferably dps). Then try to hit/kill the worms/goblins/elementals. Good luck, you'll see a lot of "Resistance" coming up on your screen.

Each level cap raise, RW should raise the level of the tower guards by 5 levels.

@ Hatred:

Get better gear, stats, use immune food, time tower attacks along with others and Fearless.

In other words, "Lrn2Play".
