I do not know about the worst siege ever, but I can tell you that I have run into siege, ready to engage the enemy at mid-right, blow some cooldowes, and click, click, click "I FORGOT TO LOAD ARROWS!!!" 5 years and still a noob.

2 worst things in SW ever -

1 - Being destroyed in SW by MenInTights

2. - In time we experienced problems with SW, when just lucky ones got into SW, we had SW where alt in enemy guild managed to get in while on our side Rustyx made it. We were all hopping that will be fast done SW, but right there at beginning of SW rusty managed to get stuck under bridge and without anyone to get him out with mount - only option was to try to reset client... witch kicked him out of SW and we lost to someone's alt. I am still kind of lost what Rustyx was doing below bridge... and since then always offered him a hand when crossing bridge - you have to understand what bridge-phobia does to people...

Good ol' times...

Ah, yes, Atar's #2 was pro siege. My most memorable siege ever.

That bug is still not fixed, BTW. You can still get stuck under the bridge near Knin or Hilot. But it is only a problem if none of the other guildies in siege have a two-seat mounts, and if the enemy does not come around and rescue you by killing you.

I would have to say being put up against 2 guilds at once being one of the worst yet for me. ^.^ Both guilds were very honorable about it, however trying to get all our players to log into the same sw was a nightmare... And after our 1st of 2 sw's was ended quickly as that is the one we were trying to move players from into the other, once one of us left or crashed out of sw, there was no returning... Vent that night was for sure a blast though!

Define worst.

I can name numerous instances where 98% of the siege situation wasn't due to the players (example already provided by someone above).

worst siege was when i was playing s/wd and all my scout skills would hit an r/k for around 8k and their combo throw would hit me for over 70k twice

SW= ppl with high HP and in PVP gear win, so this is competition of stating more HP and stamina. Last SW met a K/P with 390kHP. Fighting him is like fighting a stone wall. He just stand there and let me hit him (with my pve gears) while his hiding rogue will come the finish you off, lol. this is 1 of my very worse sw.

Haha, playing a pve geared rogue in sw for quite a while i sympathize with the last two comments ^.^ All I can say is, if you really wanna enjoy every siege war, you gotta gear for it now-a-days!

Here is a hint....don't fight him, run, kite, w/e, a k/p isn't going to do much damage, if anything...just focus on finding that rogue then you can either deal with the k/p or ignore him. Some classes in particular are great in team situations *caugh* ch/m * caugh* because everyone seems to go for them first, when they are only there to soak up damage xD

As for worst siege.....probably every siege where guilds that are supposedly 'end-game' simply don't show up and/or sit in their castle. Pretty sad that people don't even try. I loved siege on AU back when my guild got hit hard by people quiting....v'sing the other top guild's 20-30 people with our 5-6 every day was insanely fun, kept losing for ages, then 1 day we won.... not only did they QQ about us apparently 'cheating' for days on end, they did what almost all 'end-game' US guilds seem to do and rarely showed up again lolol.

yes worst sieges are definitely when people dont show up. Absolute worst. Never have i sat at top of castle or went afk during a siege, hell, idc if im only one, ill jump down and fight 20 people by myself! and be oneshotted. lol

hell even back in early edh days, the very first time we got faced with ragnarok, we didnt back down, we waited at our front gate, (entire team), and gave it our very best shot! lasted all of about 2 seconds ofc, but atleast we werent skirts about it. XD

It takes pro troll underbridge skillz! On reni, only me and Zid have it. Keiz too, if he ever comes back.

You know one of the bridges near mid-towers that is over a small indentation. Most people go there to put eyes and treacheries so they are not visible. If you head there on a mount full speed at a particular angle... might depend also on which mount you use... you are under bridge. Can't move out. You can get on mount so you are higher and your body is above bridge, but mount still can't get out.

Bad sieges when nobody shows up are relatively common. Sometimes happens on our side, too, although not by design. We had one where instead of usual 20+, we had 4 front liners, 1 balloon farmer lowbie and some tower alts. That's all we had on.

Guilds that pull shady stuff are, of course, always bad. Those make bad sieges.

Oh, and I am not a fan of guilds that just mess around. We had match that was clear mismatch, we knew before it started we were going to lose. Well, they decided that they are only going to attack gates using siege machines because hey, they knew they are going to win. Siege machines are obsolete and slow and fragile, and instead of it being 10 minutes siege, we spent full hour. It is no fun when the other guy is better but just toying around. If it was not for the "we always try to do best we can do", we would've stayed on the roof. Meh.

@CammoXD - I believe his problem was that K/P could probably heal as well... so nothing could stop him... nice... not much damage, but almost impossible to take him down...

Some of worst sieges were due to class unbalance, like P/S. I remember instances where single P/S would hold a tower and whole group of us could not take it down. Or even worst, 2 of them self healing each other and killing everything in vicinity... add a scout to mix and not even rogue could come close...

@Cerburus - Rustyx is a man of many talents... We had a siege where I am sure that clear objective of enemy guild was to hunt Rustyx down... My pet called the same was also killed many times in that siege... Wonder what might be a reason for such a not very sport behavior.

Speaking of siege, we had some good fun with old guild - dawntreaders - out guild leader got us all that 1 dias valentine costume, so we all were running around in thongs ... we made it our guild uniform... Wonder if that was some of enemy guilds worst siege... we had an very good R/K at the time...
