I don't care what you think, every single p\k that gets the elite to heal themselves when they UH someone else, is excruciatingly unfair. Almost everyone else who gets effects like this, has to wait 5,10,15,20,30 seconds, but not p\k. WTB nerf k thx bye :dash:

this is nothing but a pointless QQ thread about 1 skill that somebody thinks is overpowered. IMO, there is no issue with p/k self-heal. if you want to complain about OP heals, I can think of more that are even more unbalanced. my guess is you died to one of these in SW or was passed over for a run because you were not p/k...the fact this this is in the pvp section of forums says alot...

let's assume for a minute the skill did get nerfed. what would it be nerfed to? do you have suggestions for alternate skills? the difference between p/k UH and d/s recover is recover actually has a HoT component. p/k UH is a burst heal, and wouldn't it make sense that the self-heal was also burst? or are self-heal skills too OP in general and we should remove all heals that affect multiple targets at once?

that being said, all heals should be nerfed a bit. healing in general is unnecessarily OP.

my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

mages should stack dex. word.

And yet p/k offers nothing to the party except its heals, idk about your server but now we mostly have a p/s or p/r in our parties over p/k purely for the fact that grotto doesn't require the healers to be tanky like p/k and the other priest classes offer more to the party m this skill is more then fine as it is and does not require a nerf. There is a lot more skills out there that iur far more op.

P/K is still a good healer class..... And just because you cant kill a healer in sw is no reason to ask for the class to be broken p/k is fine the way it is Nerfing heals is a very BAD idea.

And cike your one to talk about QQ threads.....how many scout posts have you made?

Did you mean to say P/K needs a healing buff? if so then I agree. As they are now a P/K is one of the most boring combos to play in the game.

If you seriously meant nerf then I have to ask why in the world you would want to get less healing from your healer? If it's for siege well that just a L2P issue sorry - if you can't go 1-on-1 go grab a friend.

One thing I have learned about ROM in the many years of playing, There are but a handful of truly exceptional players that have perfected their class, stuns, immunities, etc... Whenever you go up against one of these players no matter the class they are on, you will most likely be owned. This is because they have years of skill (generally) and have put massive of amounts of time into the mechanics of the game. Xamd/BlankMinded comes to mind. I can kill most wardens but that tard is unkillable save by another player as skilled as he. I have no idea if you faced such a player but it is frustrating. However a class should not be nerfed because someone can play it well. A class should be nerfed ONLY when any dumb dumb can pick it up and be the best.

I looked at this thread and am struggling to understand the context.

it's my understanding that :
Characters:

Toon A -as yet unidentified toon both class and level
Toon B - A priest knight with 70 elite or tosh set skill (to lazy to look up and see for sure)

Circumstances:
In a battle met on a field of glory in some erstwhile plain, Toon A Was unable to silence or interrupt a healer. Thus allowing said healer to laugh and spam heals on himself and the opposing side.

Do to the high def of Toon B along with his healing abilities. Toon B who only bothered to spam heal won teh day over Toon A.

Complaint:
Toon A's inablity to use interrupts or silences or have other members of his guild do so declare's this. "I'm a low dps toon. Nerf the healer so I can act OP."

Verdict:

Everyone laughed.
