Where do I get nails?

Guys and Gals,

I have a couple of recipes which require "nails". I see these nails on the auction house for "diamonds". WOW!!!

Are nails a rare drop or something? If so, I'll move on and forget the whole crafting scene. If I can buy them through Item Shop...cool by me.

Yup, Nails and other high lvl crafting mats drop in Malatina's mini game.

I have different level of nails and other mats on my storage toon. What server are you on?

Can someone please explain this game please? I walked in once and got shot by a million lightening bolts and flat out died instantly wasting 30 Phirius tokens.

I dont really want to waste tokens every time to learn the game. And if I cant get nails, im not going to bother with carpentry.

I'm pretty sure that it's all explained in the rules for the game; you'd see that you need to kill the pods before you can 'safely' play the game.

The pole in the middle will constantly be harassing you, so you need to be able to kill things quickly. After defeating the guardians which spawn from the pod-looking things, you can start digging. There's a chance for a heal, a knockdown, a treasure chest, a bomb, an elite guardian, or a Frantic Cliff Demon. Most good loot comes from the treasure chests, though the Frantic Cliff Demon also has good drops but can stun you and is tough to kill.

Coming from a "Contender Of Malatina's Game"!

The daily instance everyone refers to is "Malatina's dungeon". It can be run once per daily cycle for 30 Phirius tokens. I started running it the 1st day it was released. And to my unhappiness was killed in the first 30 seconds by a HUGH Elite Robot!! What a waste of tokens :( But I decided to give it a go on the 2nd day. By the way, any class with a AOE ability will fair the best. I also made the decision to spend 30 diamonds on a Phoenix's Redemption. This was the best 30 diamonds I ever spent I think. It cleared all the "poles" "totems" or whatever you want to call the things shooting out lightning and fire. Plus the center pole didn't harass you either. I managed to clear almost all the tiles within the 10 minutes. So finally on the 3rd day I did the same thing, (30 diamonds later) and I cleared the whole room with about 12 or so seconds to spare. I got out and Malatina says if you clear the room 30 times you will get something very special. That's all I needed to hear and I was off to the races. Now I know not everyone can afford to do this but I did spend 30 diamonds 30 times to get 30 clears. Yes I am sure a bunch of you will say .. what a fool.. your a noob.. and so forth. In the end I was sooo anxious to see what my very special thing would be that I know almost no one else on the server would have... It was a Title!! "Contender of Malatina's Game" But this title is actually a good thing other than the words itself. This is the first and only that I know of Title right now that has stat's with it!! yes.. stat's!! And not half bad either.. It is +15 Defense, +2 to all Attributes, and +100 Maximum HP's.. Bottom line.. like I said a class with a AOE ability will do the best if you DON"T spend any diamonds to get rid of the "guardians" as they call them. You can easily nuke them with thunderstorm if you are a mage high enough to have that spell. And your other best friend is the teleporters in the corners. If you spawn 1 of those HUGH ARSE Robot Elites.. you can run away in time before it kills you and get to a teleporter and whamm.. teleport to the other side away from it. It will go back to it's original tile/spot and sit there to you get a game plan together to kill it. Also the mob's go up in level as you do. It happnes every time you go up from say 20 to 30 and so forth. The mob's do the same. And yes you do get all the good recipes and the mats (like nails) from this instance. That about covers it. Sure i was long winded but I hope this helps someone who wants to try it. And yes I still do it every day and I have tried it without diamond spendature.. and yes I have cleared it without. It is alot harder but can be done. PS. The robot elite's drop some really really good rings and necklaces.

If you are a priest you can cast self rezz on your self and it works in malas game. thats kinda cool. but as a mage. the aoe is the best, cause i dont have diamonds to spend. and out of prob.. 20 times or more doing it ive won One time. but i dont care. i have fun doing it and have got some nice blue items out of chests. maybe my knight will be able to kill the Cliff Demon. . i sure cant on my mage. hes a badass.

As a mage, you should be able to kill the Cliff Demon very easy. He is affected by all the stun mage spells.

Discharge, walk back, flame, lightning bolt, flame, etc. If you can't kill him like this, walk to one of the porters and leave combat and heal up and try it again, he won't heal.

It's not an everytime thing, it could be once every few runs, and it might not be the type you need. I do Goblin Games every day or so, sometimes its a nail or fiber or stone. Keep doing it and eventually you'll get it.

Alternatively, my guildies dump raw materials like that in the castle vault all the time. If THAT doesn't work, you'll probably be able to find it at Auction

cheap on auction if your guildies really don't share it, but yeah I get tons of those and AH them for dirt cheap. I'm one of the few that do high end-crafting in my guild so everyone else benefits from it. My overflow=your profit. I ALWAYS sell low crafting items because I support any and ALL crafters 300%....we are the true driving force behind this game, we do the legwork, they reap the benefits, I will NEVER believe my endless hours crafting to make that one SUPERB piece will EVER EQUATE TO THE EFFORT I PUT INTO IT. That being said, I still sell low, why? I spit in the face of the "leetists" that ruin MY game. And yes half of you don't deserve to call this your game. You grief all other players, be it with prices or kill stealing. RoM is such an amazing game, the only downfall is the loopholes they offer the players to completely ruin the play experience of the other players (yes I am a p2p, so save your worthless comments, I see the anguish my fellow players endure)

time for me t show my less confrontational side...I apologize to Agrona....I totally looked at the wrong post.....yes what you mentioned is totally unpleasant, and yes I agree with that username. In fact it should be a bannable offense, in fact, watch as they ban me but don't ban them....democracy eh? Anywho my main point is: I know the unpleasantness that word conveys, it is totally inappropriate, and I apologize for mixing up the posts....not perfect, trust me I'm not one of the FK guys.........
