Didn't see these posted, so i'll add em to the list . " Blood Stained Tar Beast (level 52) " and " Vermillion Newt (level 52) " are both located in WC , bloodstained pond area, and drop blend runes frequently. I farm them myself, even though i don't craft, because on Palenque, they go for 2 - 3 k each on the Auction House.

Someone mentioned earlier that the skeletons in Ystra lab drop them and i thought I would update this.

i would say buying them from the item shop isnt too bad, then the place with the highest drop rate that i found was in demon scar, thats i guess thats pretty far from your lvl zone

Also, blends drop decently at the shattered hand ruins in Limo desert for lvl 60+ toons

Once you outlevel the bats in FA, and hit 30-40 you can go kill gargoyles in Tower of Wailing Wind (ToWW). That is where I farm mine, really quick and easy

Hangman, don't bother with the new zones for blend, but the undead in LoM WILL drop them, and I think I got one in Tergothen from an undead critter.

It's FAR more efficient to get a decent lowbie staff/wand and dirty stat it with some T4 int/ma/sta and nuke the crap out of the Logar/Varanas mobs. You'll probly get 100 for about 30 minutes of casual playing, or you'll go 30 minutes and get a dozen in LoM.

One of the best places ive found to farm blend runes (need to be between 58-62 to truly benefit) is outside Grafu Castle. All the lil dragons patrollman and mages drop blend runes. I farmed from level 58 all the way to level 61 outside the castle each mob drops 2-3 blend runes per kill and probably picked up in total over 50,000 blend runes that i sent to guildies alts and sold in AH. Just do a circle outside of the castle killing everything it will all respawn by the time you get back around and there is alotta mobs. Also they seem to drop lots of cards which on Osha can pick up between 1-2.5mil in the AH (the +3 strength and stam ones especially) Anyways good luck and happy farming!

Or, once you hit ~lvl30+ and are reasonably geared go to Ystra. From memory they drop from the spiders (~lvl35) around the central lake, various mobs in the Labyrinth (~lvl30-40) and the gargoyles in the Tower of Wailing Wind (~lvl37).

ghost village in LOM is a good spot. It still works for my lvl 72, netting about 200 per hour. At lvl 64, I was netting about 700 per an hour there.

Making an honor party can also increase drop rate of runes if your level is above mobs level that drop them. Your other party member don't even have to be nearby.

Hi, everyone.
Believe it or not, a nice way to get crafting runes is Disenchanting.
Disenchanting low level items (14-20) yielded more Blends, Disenchants and Activates than just killing things at-level. Mind you, they are randomly distributed so you wont get stacks but you will get something useful that is worth the time you spent doing it.
Levels 14-20 seems to yield mostly Blend and Disenchants. Around levels 25 seems to be Frost Runes more than the latter. The little area before Ravenfell, outside Varanas, has a lot of guys that always drop green and white stuff no matter how high you are if you have a housekeeper potion. After 10 minutes, I had almost 10 of each of those three runes.
I have no idea if the rune-finding certificate has anything to do with Disenchanting results.
