Good mobs for "Activate" runes

I'm just starting out cooking and noticed the teen recipes call for "activate" runes. Any mobs seem to drop them alot? Thanks

The Gargoyles in the Wailing Winds Tower in Ystra drop them decently.

Also the Goblins in and around Goblin Village in Aslan Valley drops them.

For combine runes, try the leeching bats outside the FA, or the disciples in the camp in the North-East of the map.

The goblins in aslan valley dropped them quite a bit. A set of mobs in Dragonfang Ridge dropped Activate pretty often from Gnolls i think, whatever the lvl 26-28 stuff is there (Although i can be mistaken on this).

When you eventually hit 50, Agriza cyclops all drop Activate.

You can always hold off until you get to Ystra. The Minotaurs in and around snowhorn drop activate very frequently.

Minotaurs drop them in abundance.

A lot of mobs before Ystra drop activate. I can't name them all, but I noticed that I had several full stacks before moving on to Ystra. The best source of combines I've found are the gargoyles or the mobs in NoM.

The Frogs for the daily quest in Aslan drop a lot of Activate Runes. If you are on Osha, look me up, I have TONS of Activate runes :D

Oh god, Activate drops like rain in Dragonfang Ridge, Especially when you get up to the 25+ mob, Gnoll type mostly. Goblins around Rumpus drop them too.

If you need lower level mobs that drop Activate, I've found the Capra and Cyclops in Sascilia Steppes will drop them, just not as frequently as higher level mobs.

i've been kinda keeping track of where i get production runes: (list updated from this post)

frost - crabs, scalok, kobolds
link - canines, boars, rhino
blend - spiders, gargoyles
disenchhant - bats, dragonflies
purify - shrooms, tagena mobs
activate - frogs, humanoids not mentioned above

golo usually drops a production rune, along with the way into the windmill

you also get the most runes when your lvl < mob lvl
usually 1 when your lvl is 0-5 > mob lvl
sometimes get 1 when your lvl 5+ > mob lvl

What lv52-57 drops activate rune?
been killing mobs around the area but haven't gotten any yet.

52 Trolls in Bloodfang/Hardskull...do they drop them...I trashed them, I vendored them, and I still got hundreds from them.

53 Naga/Kaa in WC and Savage Lands.

55 Zurhidon in AV (possibly the various Naga and Kaa...but the whole area is all elites and I don't want to die to check that out).

57? Dunno, but probably humanoids of some type. Keep in mind that if you are OVER the level of the mob, you are less likely to get them to drop, if you are UNDER their level, you are more likely to get them, and to get a multiple drop.

Guards corridor critters in Ystra Labrynith drop activate like they are going out of style.

Specifically loaded on the poisonous crystals. I am racking them up without needing to right now.
