Food prices have gone up

Not going into cost analysis here, but I have noticed that I am getting more gold for my food stuffs with the new patch.

Creamy seafood pie, meat and bread, burritoes (the whites) have gone up what looks like 20-30%.

I have found myself pushing the price up a little bit and getting it.

Not made any of the green foods in a while, so I cannot attest to their pricing.

Yes, many of the food items have definitely increased in AH price. This likely reflects the fact that a lot of food items (in particular the basic white recipes) received big changes that made them much better. Many were almost useless prior to the update, but now they've been renewed and are more valued/desirable.

For those who still claim that the cooking skill was 'nerfed', I think this shows that they are wrong. Cooking has now become far more profitable than before, and I find it to be a viable source of income. Your guess of 20-30% is an underestimate - prices have gone waaaay up. For whites, I can easily get 1k+ gold per unit, whereas before I could barely sell a stack of 30 for a few thousand.

Most white recipes were significantly increased. Although those changes were not listed in the notes.

For example the Fish Cheesecake was 450 matk (maybe 350 not sure). It's now 1200 matk.

The greens however, in spite of their 6x the cost to make, got cut their %'s cut in half and a base value added. The system looks more polished now since the whites new values are the flat rate values added to the associated greens. On the whole though the greens are less effective to well geared players. Some of the %'s should be increased slightly.

On a side note, the crit foods were reduced, while the effectiveness of crit rate was also reduced. So those foods got double-nerfed.
