Nice to see that Devs have instituted in-game outsourcing of cooking!

Nice to see that Devs have ruined 1 of the 2 crafting skills semi-worthwhile in the game!

Oh.. could you get them to take care of my plants also. One died on me during the down time :(
Course that was my fault.. I missed one in the watching and harvesting area, before the servers went down. :p

Crafted food is still better, lasts longer, and doesn't poof in 24 hours. I can understand your concern on the lower level foods though. Even though your swamp mix lasts longer and doesn't poof in 24 hours.

For alchemy it is still a very good craft profession ATM to have because you can a) make a variety of potions that the house maid can't make, b) things don't poof after 24 hours but considering how easy it is to get more that really isn't an issue. The potion buffs also last a very long time too.

As to cooking, yea.. Really All i can say is that cooking got the short end of the stick. Yea food from the house maid is 5min versus 15 min with crafted food. NOT a big deal but yea it's annoying to have to do mid fight (I believe there are addons to manage it for you). Lack of variety I think would be the biggest issue against cooking really atm. With alchemy there are lots.. well there are other potions that are desireable, versus cooking really just a few for any class are really desired. Again the 24 hour duration is really a NON issue, just nuke any of your old stuff you had when you log in, talk to your house maid whamo blamo you have stacks of 100 of said item. Which should be more then enough for a play session and if it isn't ... well not hard to get more.

Meh. My maids are so lazy thier fatigue never recovers. Go figure.
So there's still a market for crafted foods, it just shrank a little because cheapskates won't be buying (or making) offense buff foods. The maids don't make defensive foods anyway, so those are still worthwhile even if the fatigue issue gets fixed.

Sure they have their own Unimaginable Salad for a Phys Atk buff, but Doom's Banquet still sells for a pretty gold. :)
Besides, from what I hear most of the maids are busted anyway. :P

once fixed... it might change the whole cooking and alchemy all together...

but i would assume that if level progress to or beyond 60 then it might change cooking and alchemy a bit if they introduce new high level pots and foods...

but it does break the whole point of crafting if they can freely give non-cooks and non-alchemists a free pots and foods...

Note: honestly, chapter 3 is a whole lot of mess... Pimped out guilds before chap3 got sucker punched by runey modifying the build cost making others to easily pimped out a guild compared in the past... crafting got borked by maids... froggy kicking out international players after letting them play and allow them to use their services and not giving any refund; plus it shows how froggy care for their costumers (beware big international cashshop spender)... bad design of the item-skills... well it is hard not to assume that this game is a sinking ship if more problems come... lol

Actually with the maids cooking you get magical (or physical im just using magic as example because im a mage druid :p) attack while with cooking you attack (which once you get higher you can totally out due ur maid) and Damage! Damage is MUCH better then attack so when u get something that gives 500 magical attack and something that gives 300 amgical damage take the 300 ;)
