whats this worth?

i just bought a recipe for making simple sernior apprentic's wooden chest, made a few of them and went to put them on the ah and it had no history in price :(. I was wonder if anyone would know of a price these are sold for.

In my experience, if there is no price history, it's because you can't sell that item on AH.

thats the funny part i could put it int the AH and i asked one person i know and they had no clue.

Well i put it on the ah and will see if someone buys them.

Those chests are only good as mats for furniture and other purple recipes, and usually you need the green one or the blue one, so this is only a step toward building a mat. As such, chests are specialty items and neither needed nor wanted by a large percentage of the people in the game.

So if you try to sell it, the target audience will be very small, being those people who need the green or blue recipe chest but don't have the white recipe to start with.

It is better to just vendor the chest, you still make a profit.

personally, I've held all the ones I've made in case I magically have a use for them later. The only reason i make them is the quick and easy skill ups.
