Make one gathering skill equal to your craft skill for gods sake..

I have 4 lvl 60+ chars to do this, and can i say what a pain in the arse it is.

The messing i have to do loging in and out getting gears to go to the areas needed to collect mats its just a waste of effort i could be putting elsewhere into my rom experience

fix it please what a kick in the nutz for crafters...

i have 65+ carpentry alchemy cooking tailoring woodcutting herb mining and no recpies to make anything (thats worthwile) lol ty devs yawn same old same old..

I understand the reason for capping gathering and production skills. After all they're professions and no-one not even in a game can be a Master in everything.

I am myself a high-level alchemist, and while not being able to refine mats my pet gathers is frustrating I understand the limitations...

What is sort of funny (which many people point out as a solution) is that you can make a few crafting alts.

Now in practice, besides the gathering, you can have level 1 alts to do the crafting.
Sure not much of an effort, but it feels to me it's just an extra annoyance for players to do what they want to do, with no real benefit...

i'm sorry to say it's clear that the developers never intended the crafts to really work. it appears they do want to keep up the illusion though because there are still players who value a crafting system so they make some adjustments from time to time but that's about it and i doubt a new rework is high on the priority list.
