Blacksmithing lvl 40+

I was wondering if anyone else has the problem of not being able to accept the blacksmithing quest for lvl 40+ blacksmithing.

I have no others skills at lvl 40, so that for sure isnt problem of mine. I have already checked obsidian stronghold blacksmither 5 trillion times and to make sure checked varanas 5 trillion times, but cant accept a quest from them.

The blacksmiths have a gray explanation mark on their head so i know theres a quest there, but i cant get it. Iv done all i need inorder to accept a quest for getting my blacksmithing lvl 40+ but i just cant get quest.

I'v already contacted RoM about a issue, they were nice about all my issues and got them corrected pretty fast, but regarding the blacksmithing, they said, RoM cant fix that, only FA can...

What does that mean? Are they gona ask someone to fix that for me? or is that a bug everyone has an issue at this current time in the game?

I don't know if the same thing is happening here as what happened to a guildie of mine. None of her characters could rank up in any craft--whether it was ranking up at level 20 or level 40, when she only had one craft on each character. Eventually they told her just to reinstall, and that fixed the problem for her.

If you don't have the max number of crafts for 40+, you're at 40, and you're going to the right NPC, maybe you're having the same glitch she did.

What levels are your gathering skills? Had a "duh" moment today myself with my blacksmithing; could see the grey exclamation mark for level 41 and wasn't getting anymore points on my 40... didn't occur to me that, with all my gathering at 60, my crafting levels are done where they are now.

my gathering lvls are in the 30s, i tryed to reinstall the game too, that didn't work, anyone else have suggestions?

did u talk to the correct blacksmith teacher? theres one on the east side with all the other gathering/production npc's and then there is one on the west side inside the building that the blacksmithing anvils are located outside of

Hey silly, All you have to do is reinstall the game ( :mad: ) and it will fix the problem :) ! you can DL the slim version if you don't mind losing the higher end tier of graphics or w/e.... that's what I did! anyways, yeah this will fix it! gl!

I tried reinstalling it a few days before but ill try reinstalling it again to the slim version. ill report back, to see if problem seizes or not, thanks

Seems like it thinks you are not lvl 40 yet. Make a few more Beasthorn Shields just to be sure and try again. If that does not work send a PM to one of the GMs on the forums explaining what happened and you are confused as to who needs to help (FA or RW).

Ill try making a few more things. Also i sent in report to GMs and they said they cant help me, so i would like them to ask to help me? how am i suppose to get a hold of the other guys and have them help me, wasnt explained this when i sent in ticket long time ago all they said was, something like: "were not able to help you with that problem." Will, what am i suppose to do?

blacksmtihing lvl 40+

will nothing has worked, so i had given up my qualifications and have to start at lvl 20 once more, will i wasted a lot of gold and resources getting it back to lvl 40 and now i can lvl it higher then that, thanks gms for helping (sarcasm)

I have the same problem! My blacksmithing have been stuck on lvl 40 and only other crafting I do is armor, in the 20s, gathering all in 20s as well.

Cansie Smith told me to go see Blag Smith, and Blag simply says he cannot be bothered....?!
(This is what he says when I talk to him: "You truly have talent! You should learn expert blacksmithing skills. I am responsible for passing these skilled to those who are qualified, but I don't want to deal with this now. Go away!")......:mad:

Glen Seward in OS told me to go find a man called Black (who does not smile) in Varanas. But nothing comes up when I search for this person.
