Master Crafting Recipes

Since crafting is independent of character level, master level crafting recipes shouldn't be hidden in high level zones.

Easy Access

While the master-level recipes are in a high-level (55+) area, they are not hidden in Dalanas' crafting-area. It is not that difficult for even a level-1 toon to get to Dalanas and take advantage of the master-level recipes. Here's how:

  1. Have a high-level (55+) toon create a PORTAL to anywhere inside Dalanas where you're safe from attack
  2. Mark a point inside Dalanas in your own Transport-Book so that you can return anytime without needing a portal :D
  3. Go to Snoop, just outside the central gate of Dalanas and set your recall point there. You can then return anytime without needing a portal or a transport-rune
  4. Go to Dalanas' crafting area and learn the appropriate master-level recipes from the trainers. Note: certain non-Carpentry recipes are taught by the Carpentry trainer (I think it's a bug)

Once in Dalanas, you can use the normal transport back to Obsidian Stronghold,
although it will not work in the reverse direction until you complete the appropriate high-level quest.

Yes, even a level-1 toon can learn master-level crafting recipes. Moreover,
you can take advantage of the bonus provided by IS crafting furniture.

However, you must be Level-50+ to take advantage of crafting-related Item-set skills:

No, the Improved Crafting Speed, Improved Crafting XP, Improved Gathering XP and Improved Gathering Speed set skills are not limited in any way by level. I have a lvl 27 toon with Improved Crafting XP (lvl 70 tailor), and a lvl 26 toon (when I got the skill, now lvl 58) with Improved Gathering XP (lvl 60 gatherer: all 3, soon to have mining at 61).

Ciao,
Dave

And to the OP, my tailor just recently got the lvl 70 chests from TB the same way as described for Dalanis, and earlier from Fireboot for the 65 ones.
