Could anyone confirm whether or not the rune identification scroll has any effect on the chance to find crafting runes? After they updated this skill last year, I noticed less crappy results like Ash Wood and Tier I runes, however I am seeing crafting runes way more often than anything else (which is great).
Also, if anyone could add some insight as to whether or not the level or quality of a disenchanted item bears any effect on the results? I notice that levels 14-20 items produce more Blend and Disenchant more often than Purify and Activate, while Frost Runes seemed to be the result around level 25+.
To confirm, I spent an hour in Forsaken Abbey, and Necropolis of Mirrors. In the former, I found more Blend and Disenchant Runes, while in the latter, I found more Frost, Disenchant and Purify Runes. The level difference of the item seemed to bear some effect. Activate Runes may have been a result more often in FA, but they were too few in both cases to notice a pattern.
