Leveling planting time?

So how long does it take to get planting to say level 40 or 60? rough guesstimates appreciated.

You generally get couple levels a day, so I say about 10.

Roughly 2 weeks, 5 hours, 24 minuts and 58 seconds give or take couple hundredths of a second. ;)

On serious note, it all depend on how good planer you are, what pots, water and soil you're using, how many of them, and how often do you take care of your plants. It can take as Rustyx said about 10 days, but it can take you 2 months if you are not doing it correctly...

I would suggest everyone to try it. It is well worth doing and there is just small initial cost.

What pots are you planning to get and how many?

also in case u guys dont know, planting doesnt count as 1 of the production skills so u can take it all the way to 80 or whatever the cap is along with 1 other production skill

Just FYI, it can take a while to get above 20 planting if you're really unlucky with the drop you need to raise the cap. It can take just a day or two, or it can take several weeks. Once you're past that, though, it goes by fast. And it's well worth it at 80, even if the high level seeds are slightly messed up. It makes a pretty decent amount of money, and can help with other crafts.

For 1-80 is about 45 - 50 days best way to do is going to Obsidian Stronhold in the craft are some Planting NPC who sell Green Water and Soil lvl 1 u can use that from lvl 1-40 that make you feed your plants only 1 or 2 times per day.
