Runes of Magic US / AU

Felainor is a boss spawn at the end in Goblin Mines but only when done at level 30-39, there's four bosses in all only one of which will spawn dependant on the level you go in it at.

It's not a recipe I recall coming across but I know of players a long way back that used the one up (purple recipe) for its +%Fire Damage so *should* still be obtainable. Would also try running Malatina's between lvls 30-39, probably one of the best sources of level appropriate recipes and the Ancient Treasure mini has a small chance of getting a Rare Weapon recipe scroll so maybe the purple could come from that.

Good luck and if you choose to try out goblin mines maybe take a friend or two, can be a challenge esp. at lower lvls

Oh man do not quote me on this has been such a long time since I went looking for this recipe but I keep thinking it also can drop from Mystic Altar. The mino instance that is around lvl 40ish in Ystra Highlands. When they decided to restructure the forums we lost a lot of very valuable information that was collected by the player base from the old world of RoM.

I saw online somewhere it said undead in revivers corridor drops it, I had mine already, now just having issues getting the steel nails. Which seems the new patch to mini games might make them next to impossible to get.

Maybe get a character up to around level 45 and try the minigames with that?

I can try that, I thought the new stuff didn't kick in till 60, which is why I was trying it with a level 53. That character though was getting the new stuff. Ill try to get a char to 45 and try that just to see. I just wanted to avoid that if possible. Like if I could farm instances, etc, or they dropped somewhere else.



Edit: Just tried survival which I know used to give the old mats on a level 40 and still got the newer stuff. The character is 40/74, so I don't know if that should matter. But no crafting mats.

I got it from reviver's corridor .. but there are only 2 different sets of mobs in there that drops it, i don't recall which ones they were at the moment though since it was so long ago


And the only place I have EVER seen a steel nail come from is guild dailys. good luck
