PlantCare + PetAutoCraft

Since i didn't see those 2 addons being listed I thought it might be usefull to link them here:

pet-gathering (use during afk is considered as botting, just be aware of it):
http://www.curse.com/addons/rom/pet-auto-craft

easy, quick planting:
http://www.curse.com/addons/rom/plantcare

Cheers :)

Pet Auto Craft has been deemed an exploit. Yes you *could* use it while at the keyboard, but I wouldn't risk the chance of needing to AFK for something and being accused of botting. Just not worth the risk of what could happen.

PAC, when used as intended--at the keyboard while you are actively playing the game--is acceptable. But activating it and walking away from your computer for lunch, or going to bed and allowing it to churn away, is not acceptable.

If a GM happens by while you're away, whispers to you several times over a period of time and receives no response, you'll likely get an account suspension.

Word to the wise, my friend.

This is why I said its not worth the risk. If an emergency happens, doorbell or any number of thousands of reasons why you have to be afk and you forget to turn off pac, it could turn out really bad. Best idea is just not to use it imo.

If you're using PAC as it is supposed to be used, there won't be a problem. But if you're standing next to a crafting area or a Pet Hunter and get nailed, that's your responsibility, no?

All you have to do is think and plan ahead, and you're golden.

Yes Kalvan, it is 100% the players who are responsible. If I made it sound like they weren't I apologize. All I was saying was if you're using it correctly, then your child has an accident and keeps you away from the computer for say an hour, then that entire hour you've been breaking the rules. Too many things happen in our lives that happen in a split second, the last thing some honest player needs is for something to happen and then get banned simply because they forgot to turn off pac. The safest bet is just not to use it so you'll never be in a position to get banned like that. We're on the same page Kalvan, no worries. :)

AFKs that dont take longer than using 1 stack of tools the regular way shouldnt become a problem... while my pet is usining 1 stack (which also works without an addon all by itself) i can answer the phone, open the door, take a shower, eat my lunch, etc...

the real problem used to be those countless toons parking at the pet vendor 24/7 buying further tools and selling trash all by themselves - those are about gone by now :)

my favourite after all is planting - plant care can't interact all by itself, so its free of risks :)
