Removing Craft skill

I've tried Logar, Pioneer Colony, Varanas, Harf trading post, and Heffner. Talked to all the near-by alchemist to remove the skill to get Woodcutting and nothing.

You cannot remove the skills - after all, you are allowed to learn all 3 gathering and all 6 crafting and use them up to level 20. You can ask the NPC's to "forget" your qualifications in a skill. What level is your Woodcutting?

My woodcutting is 20. I want to get my woodcutting back so I can level and forget my alchemy but I don't know which NPC and which town.

20 is the lowest you can 'forget' to and shouldn't cause you any problems in levelling alchemy.

Since you sound like you are having problems, can you tell me the current level of all 3 gathering skills and all 6 crafting skills?

I'm not having problems with alchemy. I just want to forget it so I can level my wood gathering instead. My alchemy is at level 13.

You do not need to 'forget' anything. You are free to level all 3 gathering skills to level 20.

Alchemy is a production skill and is independent of the Woodcutting skill.

Then how come the woodcutting cannot be leveled higher because I took alchemy?

The woodcutting can't be levelled higher because it's level 20 already. You need to talk to a woodcutting trainer (I believe there's one in Varanas East), and get the quest that will raise it to a 40 cap.

The quest disappeared for wood when I raised ore and herb.

You can only have 2 of the Ore, Wood and Herb gathering skills above 20. If you want to raise Woodcutting past 20, you will have to 'forget' your current qualification in gathering Herbs or Mining.
