Hiya folks.
I've been toying around with the 3D model views and thought I'd release a little add-on as an example of using these things.
As a bit of a bonus -- as I wanted this thing to do something somewhat useful --, it quickly saves screenshots of the views and may even be useful to Adami/Ephe for her drawings (check with her first though). See this thread:

Anyway, here's the comment header from the Lua file:
PhotoShoot
A simple add-on to help create the screenshots needed for drawing RoM
characters.
Basically creates special 3D model views of your current target/self/whatever
and then saves screenshots of them.
This was done mostly for the hell of it, but the idea came from perusing
Adami/Ephe's thread "Scribbles of a crazy priest".
Known Oddities:
- The lighting used in the photo shoot is taken from the environment.
This then can make some of the shots look a little off color-wise. To
attempt to alleviate this, the background color can be set so at least
you can still see things.
- The add-on removes the weapon(s) from the full body views. This can look
a little odd for some NPCs.
- The photo shoot views are animated and so sometimes the character may be
in mid blink when the shot is taken.
- The add-on was designed primarily as a means of taking pictures of players
and humanoid NPCs. Some creatures and other NPCs may not properly fit into
the model view frames used.
- Yes I know, the so-called purple background is really magenta. Shut up!
And here's the add-on itself:
